We are deeply sorry you may not like the new skins, however this unfortunately remains a matter of taste. Its a matter of taste? Yes... truly - Thats why this thread exists and that is why dreadnoughts do not have siege vacuums... Your taste sucks.
Quote: why the hell would you use woodland camo in space?
Quote: Definitely not a good point. Paint jobs are a reflection of how the race flying the ships envision themselves. To say that the federation navy has no assosciation with ground fighting on many homeworlds is just plain ignorant. I think its VERY cool to see that they reflect the appearance of how navy officials might actually want their ships painted. The worm has always been one of my favourite paintjobs, and the new paintjob the mega has makes me a bit envious. But then, why am i really wasting my time replying in a topic that calls something that has ZERO bearing on gameplay, unbalanced? What a useless waste of the devs time this thread is. Love the paint jobs.
You talk of bad points , but are you actually listening to yourself? Do you really think a race that has so long passed the cliff of singularity can relate to a woodland scenario let alone envision them selfs there? Its bin almost twenty thousand years since they got stuck in eve and you think they are still running around in the jungle? Are you so "challenged" with the concept of a theme you cant comprehend the absurdity of a colossal woodland camouflaged space battleship.
"Realistically" speaking a gallante SPACESHIP navy officer wouldn't even know what a "woodland combat scenario" is nor would/could the gallante relate to a camouflage in their current wars. Aside from all that do you really think "the defenders of the free world" would squander millions of their taxpayers money on a colossal cosmetic battleship makeover?
And do you honestly think any officer would want that sorry excuse for an art on his ship?
Its true that it has zero bearing on gameplay and balance... so what? A HUGE part if not majority of CCP's staff works towards making the game look better... Reading this thread might be a good idea for them ,- maybe they could get some work done... instead of just copy pasting. There is nothing more un-original than what they have done... No color at all would have bin more unique- and it would certainly outclass those gag stains in style.
You would have to be an imbecile to not notice the extreme lack of artistic intuition and a man of poor taste to actually like it.
