Well, the subject. Is there any way to make hi-sec only buy orders?

Yes, limit your range and pick the location so only hi sec is within your buy order range

Grow some balls and buy a warp core stabilizer so u can pick up stuff over lowsec. Alternatively put up some courier contracts for these 'dangerous' missions.
If you still dont want to cover lowsec, just use your map and guess where you need to make your orders from, and how many jumps will be the range.

Only affects the sell orders that you can see, not the buy orders that you place.
As was previously stated, fit a ship to run in and out of low sec to pick up your stuff or else set up courier contracts. There are posts telling you how to setup such a ship. There are also people who will do those courier runs but you have to make it worth their while for the risk involved. The more jumps into low sec the more you should pay.

Limiting the jump range is about your only option. I'm not a high SP character but when I need to go 1-3 jumps into lowsec to pick up some bought stuff I just put 2 core stabs on an Atron and go. The only time you're actually in danger is undocking out of a station, otherwise nothing is going to kill you in a nimble ship.

The problem with long-range Buy Orders sometimes landing in low-sec systems is that one might end up having to make trips to 20-30 differet stations in a dozen different systems.
That's no fun.
