Eve Tribune have contacted me about writing an article on what we're doing.
Last time round a few devs commented on what we were doing quite positively and said they liked it, that was before there was faction warfare though so whether they would feel differently this time I don't know, quite a few have left/are leaving FW to join us.
Having said that, with the amount of people I've spoken to who'd used the Power of 2 to make RvB chars they shouldn't mind too much. It's a great time for Power of 2 folks!

Guys this is a great way to build up your BC stats for when you want to join a real pvp corp and they say your a noob gtfo. Go here, join a team, kill alot of people, and profit. I may even make an alt and FC for you guys on occasion.. Go Blue, DIAF Red, k thnx.

Any carebear who wants to try out PVP to see if they like it or just to learn the basics would fit in fine. Unlike FW you don't just get select groups, an FC simply links up an auto join to fleet and off you go. Anyone is welcome to try FC too. No hassle or ego chat (except lots of teapot abuse) Fleet and ship sizes are being restricted or matched up as far as practical by mutual agreement. No system is perfect but it works quite well. So flying around in a Thrasher is fine. The forums already have some excellent advice on how to FC and ship fitting as well as basic PVP advice. The aim is not to teach PVP but that's happening by default.

Doesn't get more real than this tbh, quite few corps or alliances in EVE that can offer more fun, action or challenges tbh.

This is exaclty what I did. With the 100% bonus to training time its possible to get a brand new alt into a rifter with T2 guns in under 1 week.
I'd recommend this to anyone. I didn't have much experience with PvP before this apart from a little FW. Had a blast on Saturday until my hard drive packed up 
Cant wait for it to come back so I can jump back into the thick of things.
The atmosphere is really friendly on both sides with lots of obliging pilots willing to go 1v1 if you want a solo fight to try something new.

Also, if ISD is in hibernation I'm sure some of those friendly CCP employess who post news about *cruiser tourneys* can do a snippet about RvB as well? (We do tourneys as well, faction fit noobships is one favourite but anything goes)

Last night I suicided my Dual LAR Hype in to a gang of 10+ filthy Blues, station ***gotry granted... I hadn't bothered forming a fleet or even checking if we had actives but it was at our HQ so I thought somebody would undock, that turned out to be a false assumption, mostly every red was AFK after a gang... :P
The Hype had a quite Epic tank but I still managed to lose it with 0 kills. :P (I ****ed up 2 times, I kept on the bait harby with blood frenzy and let the TDing arbi live and mess me, also I deaggroed too late, my struct dropped a second before a new repair cycle would have taken me out of trouble)
Epic fun though, I have to fit a new one soon.

I'd like to suggest that with the coming npc-corp tax, joining RvB is an excellent idea for mission runners! Its quite simple, just join the Blues, and tell everyone in the RvB channel which system you mission in, so we know not to bother you there.

Since Saturday's launch, kill tally is Blue: 944, Red 900. Almost 2000 ships in less than a week.
There really is no better time to dip your foot into pvp. We welcome newbies and carebears alike. Cast off your yoke! Do something with that ISK rather than pile it up, waiting for the right time to use it. You won't get attitude here, only more targets to plow into.
Play this game the way its meant to be played, for fun

Hmm, I have been thinking of joining for a few days now, but I hesitate: I am not always as motivated , it goes in phases ^^
But its a nice idea really, and I wouldnt mind dusting off a few old ships ( Like my "Bumblebee" Osprey...or my amazing T2 Velator called "NotMuchOfAHeroNowAreWe?"

I had my first night with RvB last night, and it was a blast. Quite simply, it was the most fun I've had in EVE for quite some time.
It beats FW hands down. As far as I could tell, there was no ego in chats, no "GET IN THIS *!*! FLEET NOW U *@#^!", no real smack or whining, no silly blobs. Just pure fun.
I almost always prefer to solo, but there were a few small fleets doing good work as well.
Get on board with these chaps. You won't be disappointed.

Have to agree it's just pure fun with no blobs, and their are also lots of 1v1's. I been in it since it began and i learnt a lot just in these few days. If your new and looking to get into PVP without the politics or boring POS warfare then this is definately it

Cost to me so far about 20 million including about 20 ships in stock, maybe less cost as I loot sometimes of course. Cost of each ship, fully insured, a few hundred thousand even with named mods. Fun value is around 1 billion. Best ISK to fun ratio in the game. And I don't even have to pay for the free knowledge I'm getting from experts in the game.
