I need a fast cruiser to zip around the region and collect items from my buy orders. So what's a good one that is low on align time and still has a pretty good cargo capacity? I have an indy, but that just takes way too long =(

Thorax is pretty nippy, fastest gallente cruiser, 170m/s but only 285m3 cargo 5 low slots Vexor is next 480m3 base and 159 m/s, 4 lows Exequror 600m3 and 159m/s 3 lows but 10% bonus to cargo per cruiser level ------------------------------------------------ You either need a punch up the throat or a good shag.
Nobody round here is offering the second one therefore your choices are limited! |

The problem its that usualy ship with good cargohold will not be that agile and agile ships usualy dont have that good cargohold.
for cruises i wold look at the exeqror, scyth, osprey or augoror depending on wich race you fly, but i really dont think they are fast enough.
Of course the obvious answer its 'bloackade runners' but i odsnt think you wold be asking if you had the skills for it. _ I like to play this game because it make my in-game actions and archievments to mean something in-game. |

What do you think of the stabber? It's very fast, 420m3 cargo, and 3 low slots.

I did not take a closer look to all the ships. The sttaber looks fine for a cruise, however I really dont think its enough to avoid a descent low-sec gatecamp. Actualy the best option its really to have a friend/corp mate/alt scouting for you so you can go in a industrial (if the path its clear).

Inertia Stabilizers boost the agility (and align time) of any ship. Of course, they occupy the same low slots as Expanded Cargohold modules.
You may eventually want to look at training up to Blockade Runners (Transport ships -- T2 Industrials). For Minmatar, that would be the Prowler. You can load those up with several thousand m3 of cargo, and they align better than cruisers... almost as quick as frigates. Not cheap, but darn good ships.

And they can have a covops cloak...which makes it awesome for low-sec and 0.0 hauling. You're pretty much uncatchable in low-sec.

The Stabber is undoubtedly the fastest, most agile T1 cruiser in the game. The Exequror is probably the cruiser with the largest cargohold.
If you don't want to train up to Blockade Runners and the Covert Ops cloak, the best, most agile industrial ship is the Sigil (requires Amarr Industrial I). It has lots of low slots so you can choose your preferred mix of agility modules, warp core stabilizers, and cargo expanders.
Obviously a blockade runner is the best option for you. It can warp cloaked and it aligns as fast as a frigate. It's virtually unstoppable outside of 0.0.

I just use a few of the free-from-mission-arc Badgers and condors - neither of which are the cruiser you asked for lol; I had forgotten about the condor until I saw a nice speed fit on battleclinic.
But if you are looking for speed runs, you can find some stats at
http://eve.aeonoftime.com/index.php?/archives/92-Howto-build-a-fast-autopiloting-ship.html
19.4 warp speed, about 680 m/s base speed w/o MWD, 4.500 m/s with

I suspect he's looking for a cheap T1 runabout, and wouldn't you cry seeing a vag being used to collect market orders ------------------------------------------------ You either need a punch up the throat or a good shag.

Thanks. I didn't realize any cruiser had cargo bonus. I've adjusted it for level 2, same as the frigates with bonuses.

The Vaga is T2 Heavy Assult Cruiser, so techinically no in this case since they are inquiring about T1 cruisers for hauling purposes.

It depends on what you're trying to achieve. If you just want to move a few mods from place to place real quick then you're probably better off with a frigate with a couple of istabs in the lows, especially if you are moving through lowsec since nothing that can survive a sentry gun will be able to lock you down. If you're not moving through lowsec or if you're moving cruisers around to sell or large amounts of minerals/mods then you're going to have/will want to look at larger ships classes such as cruisers, possibly even industrials.
