(ok.. I just erased about 8,9 pages of comments about just hail and quake alone..)
so, if Nozh or other Dev's read this post.
Question:
1. why use the *short-range projectile ammo?
dmg?.. nope..
(taking into account the lack of tracking, range pennalties, (speed and cap issues with it, you will hardly get the total damage you already would be able to do with t1 ammo either way.. )
(not to mention the complete lack of survivabillity...)*i can live without survivabillity if i can get the actual damage 
Too expencive to use vs a station.. (waste of iskies..) but i guess if you really want to find a use for them and you have plenty of iskies to spend... shooting a station that's not being defended would be the only real reason to use them..  [note to self.. dont orbit the station though.. you'll most likely not hit it....(ok a bit on the ironic side there.. but still.]
NOW! onto a bit more fun stuff!...
one thing thats really cool about the current changes =S
FACTION AMMO!.. I really like the way they come out in all of this. =D
they have almost the same dmg as the T2 without the penalties =D sweet!
they are worth the hassle and the iskies now =)
specially for pvp =)
I want to thank you for at least looking into the projctiles, it's more than has been done since.. hmm... lets .. see.. no.. that was.. more of a .. nerf...... hmm.. nope.. that was the nerf-bat .. there was the speed fix, hmm.. no wait.. that wasnt.. ehhrmm.... and the ..time before that... the stacking exploit.. erm.. yeh!.. eh.nope..... I know there was something.. ... well. since last..uh.....
I seem to have a ceirtan brain freeze atm.. =/
well, what can i say, I like a challage..
who wants to spend 2-3 weeks to have fully trained for a ship (*coughs drake*) when you can spend 7+ years and still not be able to get the ships and weaponry to really do their stuff 
anyhow.. ccp I love you guys, EvE should be listed among the wonders of the net =D

there are minmatar / ship fittings that are versatile and good.
there are tactics that are usable.
there are ways
dps - alpha strikes - tank -.. these are just things in the game that play a role,
there are so many other things in the game that count aswell and can change the outcome.
if nothing of these things work.. just outblob them.
if the other guys are outblobbing you.. well. hope your in a minmatar ship, because you were one of the first that had to leave anyway =D
