The amarrian forces caught another pirate in the amarr system of Mista. Blake Bloodsworth was chased to about 10-15 planets before our interceptors could get his shuttle's warp engine malfunctioning. We decided to let him live if he quit Piracy and thus HoW. He apologized to the amarrian people and was freed from his tracktor beams. Blake joined another corp and moved his assets out of the system of ziriert while PIE forces locked up the 12 pirates in there with a small but powerfull fleet.

BATTLEREPORT
This evening the pirate corp HoW teamed up with Fr33ks corp and set up a blockade in R3 system with two mobile warp disruptors. The pirates had 14 ships in the system including 9 battleships.
PIE had 5 battleships in R3 with some support ships. Another 3 PIE BS and a sympathiser's Raven were scrambled and swiftly moved to Misaba and jumped into R3 coordinating closely with the PIE forces in R3 who warped to the gate.
The PIE fleet concentrated its fire very effectively. We believe at this time that 7 of the 9 pirate BS were destroyed. Amarrian forces also destroyed another 5 other assorted HoW and Fr33k cruisers and interceptors.
The pirate's own warp disruptors prevented many of their pods from getting away from the battle and as a result seven pirates had their clones reactivated.
Amarrian forces lost no ships in the engagement.
In addition to the 7 pirate battleships destroyed in this battle a further HoW BS was destroyed by a lone PIE pilot, DarkMatters, this morning.
In its campaign against pirates active in low-sec Amarrian space PIE has so far destroyed 9 battleships (once the the 7 tonight is confirmed), approximately 8/9 cruisers and a number of smaller ships. PIE losses to date has been a single Crusader interceptor. Several HoW pilots have already seen the error of their criminal ways and left the Corporation...
We have to give both Fr33ks and HoW credit for having the guts to seek an engagement with PIE tonight and for their respectful behaviour in the local comms system following the engagement.
We would like to remind HoW and other criminals in the Kheram/Valmu/Gemodi/Mamet/Misaba area that their activities will not go unpunished. However it doesn not have to be like this. If these corporations accept 3 basic conditions PIE shall leave them in peace to conduct respectable business in this region.
The three conditions are:
1) Agree to respect Amarrian law while operating in the area
2) Make a public renouncmnnt of piracy and a commitment to not persue this path any longer
3) Agree to work with PIE in tackling other criminals either operating in the region at present or in the future
We hope that the pirates will see the wisdom of this in due course and join the path to enlightenment. If they do not then we shall continue to work to punish them for their sins.
Any Minmatars think of exploiting laxness in PIE's defence of Amarr during its campaign against the pirates should be aware that following its victory against the pirates PIE, working with CVA allies Dark Seraph, succeeded in destroying a terrorist Raven and Blackbird in Amarr.

Khaldorn slipped into the command centre to pick up his orders, this place was getting busier and busier by the day. And it didnt help that they had to move its location lest they get pinned down by Republic officials or their enemies.
He walked over to the coffee machine as he read over his latest orders, filling his cup up and placing his thumb print on the datapad to acknowledge the order.
Sipping his coffee he walked over to the big viewscreen on the far wall detailing operational pilots, known enemy locations and suspected slave convoys. He flipped a comms switch to the left of the screen
"All active Wolf Pack pilots please report to command center for briefing."
He sipped more of his coffee as he studied the screen, another clash with AMAX had recently occurred. This Gladius Legion they had formed was looking frail however. Their allies had taken the misguided step of declaring war on the Masuata Matari tribe, in their arrogance thinking to take on the largest freedom fighter tribe out of them all... they had paid the price for that dearly. Retracting their war with the tribe they had, he thought, hoped to seek solace and replace their losses. The Voshoud of that tribe was no fool however, and now Metatron were running, he would take his warriors and finish them. Good riddance, he had seen reports of what those people had done to enslaved Matari. He hoped his fellow warriors burned everyone of those accurssed Amarrians alive in their pods.
His attention turned as Pilots began filtering into the command centre, he clasped hands with Darius as he entered.
"Good to see you brother" said Khaldorn "I believe you owe me two casks of Spiced wine still?"
"Hah! You will get them brother, its about time you won something of me eh?"
Khaldorn laughed, and as the last of the pilots filtered in, he flicked the viewscreen to display Amarr space and the current known locations of the CVA fleet. He looked around at his fellow pilots, he liked the wing.
"Alright hears the deal, the CVA fleet has been concentrating on clearing their backwaters from pirate threats."
"Hah! about time they concentrated on real criminals and stopped protecting their damn slaver holder masters." retorted 22 who was standing at the back grabbing a beer from the fridge.
"Aye sister, but as you can see from this latest info we have" Khadlorn pointed behind him to the screen "Their borders are now loosely protected. So Maggot wants to step up the slave raids, we have a window of opportunity here to free more of our brethren than we could usually manage. We'll need a haulerpilot.."
The whole room groaned at such a thought
"I know, I know, but someones gotta do it so we'll draw straws. Then we are heading into Domain on an extended slave convoy raid, keep your wits about you as always brothers, sisters, they may be distracted but we should never underestimate them. Our brothers and sisters held in bondage are relying on us, lets get to this, we'll be taking alternate routes to the destinations, splitting into three groups. hands up who wants to lead. Right, good ...

Oh, by the way... those long-limb roes that were shipped to the Emperor were truly first class. The recently freed Matari currently residing in my base asked me to pass along my compliments to the Emperor's purchasing agents for their exemplary taste.

Yesterday, I butchered some of The Good emperors Transport ships. Decent amarrians carrying valuable weapons for the the murder and subjugation of other peoples.

The LEGION Corp has declared war on PIE in sympathy with the plight of their piratical brothers in Hooligans of War.
This morning in Amarr LEGION attempted to ambush a PIE member. They did not succeed!
The LEGION CEO lost her Apocalypse (dropping 6 MODULATED heavy lasers in loot). Another pirate interceptor was destroyed as well as a frigate whose pilot was podded.
Amarrian justice continues to prevail.
Operation Enlightenment has, in the past 6 days, seen the destruction of around 11 HoW/Fr33ks/LEGION/Soul Cartel battleships + aproximately 14 other assorted pirate vessels. HoW are camped nightly and they have lost over 10 members in the last week.
In that time PIE has lost two Interceptors and a friend's Raven.
Surely the Emperor God is blessing this operation to clear pirates from low-sec Amarrian space.
The pirates will continue to be bathed in the in the cleansing light of our holy lasers until they repent of their sins and renounce their heretical way of life.
Despite our operations against the pirates PIE has continued to maintain a presence in the war against terror. At least two Minmatar terrorist battleships also succumbed to CVA forces this week...
