20 goon bombers, 9 lost mostly due to friendly fire- excluding myself who died because i thought sieges would be more valuable than nanos ffffffffffff
What wasn't mentioned were the couple of russian lone-wolf bombers who scored a dozen or so kill on their own. Nice going bros.
edit: what i found interesting is that it seems the only good defense against organised bombing is to bubble your own fleet
and hope they get sucked into smartbomb range, which needless to say isn't optimal.

This sounds right as Init normally flys RR bs's and we didnt get many of them. Atlas on the other hand, well I hope there 6.5b in losses today was worth helping Tri keep a high end moon.

I could be wrong, but doesn't the game consider bombs to be separate entities from the ship that launched them? Say you pop a stealth bomber before the last bomb he launched goes off, seems like it would still go off anyway.

Yeah, bombs and missiles/torpedoes are separate items.
