I am currently running level 3 missions in an arbitrator with 2 20km drone control range enhancing things, an armor tank, afterburner all perma running, and I am thinking og moving on to using a curse for lvl 3-4 missions. Has anyone used a curse for this role, and what did they fit on it to make it lvl 4 worthy?

Your not gonna do level 4s very easily if at all in a curse, look at going for a battleship, some hacs, ishtar springs to mind can do level 4s albiet slowly, T3 is an option albiet an expensive one if you want to stay with a cruiser size hull.

An armour-tanking Curse could do most low level plexs & L3s and would be tankier than the Arbitrator, but the neut & TD bonus is completely useless for missions.
The Curse is really a PvP-centric ship, you'd be better served by a Harbinger or a battleship.

I was thinking of shield tanking it, with 3x 19km deadspace nos
wonder if that will tank lvl 4s?

Level 3's and 4's are completely doable in a curse. Its not the fastest or most efficient ship for the job, but its works and its fun.
I used to use this fit on an old char.

It may be doable, but it wont be very practical. The curse has clear pvp intentions, and using one would just be doing things the hard way.

I have taken out battleships with an ishtar using medium drones, so the curse would work, it just isn't time efficient at all

Yup, a battle cruiser is a much better choice efficiency - ISK wise, for level 3's.
I jumped to BC's when I still did lvl 2's and they pretty much kick ass. Then I jumped to battle ships while still doing lvl 3's and my Harbinger became my salvage boat. If you plan to make some isk in lvl 4's, which I am doing now with only mediocre BS skills, it is hard to get around battleships anyway.
