Well today I was off to collect my new toy... a TA3 Perfunctory Vessal Probe.
Well on the way to the station to dock I see a can with apod next to it. both RED!
So i ignore it.. collect my toy and decide to go home. BUT NOOOOOOO
Curiosity nearly killed this cat :P
In the can was 5 named items and 12.5k of Zyd ... WOOOOOOT!
I was stoked. so I sat there for 5 mins nothing. well i helped my self... it was a red can so her got what he deserved :P
so did I ;)

I was npc hunting in my Harpy about 3 days ago, in 0.4 space, and I'd noticed about 20 cans about 110km above a belt and after passing it a few times, curiosity got the better of me too so I switched setups, put on dual mwd and zoomed towards it.
Most of the loot was crappy but in one of the cans I found a Shadow Serpentis 10MN AB'r \o/
I'm assuming someone had a "Beserk" missions which spawned a Cmmdr and forgot to pick up the loot.

I was npc hunting in my Harpy about 3 days ago, in 0.4 space, and I'd noticed about 20 cans about 110km above a belt and after passing it a few times, curiosity got the better of me too so I switched setups, put on dual mwd and zoomed towards it.

Last night i found a total of about 200ks worth of Scordite, in a few jet cans dumped around a system. I couldn't believe my luck.

90% sure that was me, was solo mining in an osprey and had to log before I could pick up my ore

Sicne then I have never flown past a can without at least looking in it

Similar thing here. First few days doing L2 Security Agent missions and picked up a loot can containing Gurista Cloaking Device!!

Similar thing here. First few days doing L2 Security Agent missions and picked up a loot can containing Gurista Cloaking Device!!

was hunting for certain people in a certain 0.0 region and came across a loot can from what seemed to be an npc rat, it had no corp ticket on it. It was on my way to the gate so I stopped to see what was in it . . . . . Mega Modulated Pulse Energy Beam! nice.
someone i guess decided to kill the rat and not collect the loot.

In the days shortly after Miner II's entered the game, a can with 5 of them (plus lots of drones and minerals) near to Vouskiaho.
Swapped two for a set of unlimited researched heavy drone BPC's and sold the others for 6 million isk.
Can't remember how much the rest of the loot was worth, as I got my first memory implant at the end of that trip!
It had been a good day in Eve (nb. literary reference).

I still recall finding my first Stasis Webifiers in and around Costolle system and then hearing all sorts of tales about who used them. I kept a good number around as totems for a while till I discovered they recycled well.

I found a can full of BP's in the debris of a hauler I destroyed in PF-346.
Lots of them.
Guy Eve-mailed me begging for them back, telling me how they were everything he had and the loss would mean him quitting Eve.
I wonder what he is doing now?

Just finished a Sabotage mission, killed all the gallente navy ships went to get the loot... First can, Local Hull Expander. Second can, Local Hull Expander. Third can, Local Hull Expander. Other loot as good too.
Sold the expanders within half hour of posting on the market forum. Was a good mission.
Before that, way before that, had a Zor mission. Killed the Raven, checked the can and got a +4 Perception Implant. Was a good mission.

And, One time I was camping a gate and an enemy Kestrel tried to insta to the gate. I set off my smartbombs and got 2500 megacyte, 1500 zydrine, 2x large 'accomidation' repairers, 5x Cap Recharger II's, 1600mm Tungstan Plate, some other stuff and some ship BPC's and some Power Diagnotic II's and Reactor Control II's. Was a lot for one little Kestrel.
