So far I've tried the Ferox and the Prophecy. The Ferox has truly stinky damage output with its five heavy launchers, in fact I think the bonuses are toward hybrid guns, not missiles! The prophecy on the other hand deals much better damage with six heavy beams, but although it does seem to have cap bonus for laser turrets it's not really enough to be able to tank at any useful rate. I'd say both a caracal and a maller would clobber their respective big brother battlecruisers.

The prophecy on the other hand deals much better damage with six heavy beams, but although it does seem to have cap bonus for laser turrets it's not really enough to be able to tank at any useful rate. I'd say both a caracal and a maller would clobber their respective big brother battlecruisers.

Nah dude. There is NO way a Hvy cruiser can take out a properly equiped BC. I had my Ferox able to tank battleship damage for a good deal of time before it begins to go do into armor. my set up for it is 3 250mm hybs. 1 cruise missle L. 2 hvy missle Ls. would tear up any cruiser out there. having 3k shd with 50/60/70/60 resists. 137 rec, 1.2k cap with a med booster or a large. we are not even including any bonuses for the battlecruisers yet. which give it 5% to all shield resists per level. I highly doubt the caracal could kill my ferox in ANY manner.

ferox definately. Its a BB with fire power. 6 mids for the ew stuff, 6 highs = lots of fire power and the 4 lows are pretty nice. Will be getting one asap

I just got up so I'm all groggy and can't think straight yet, but... you used 50% of all available powergrid to stick one cruise launcher on it? Ok.

maintains 4km/sec and does 250+ base damage per heavy missile.
If it moves kill it. If it doesn't move, kill it. It might move later. |

Actually the Minmatar Battlecruiser ROCKS, they all do, just one problem with them all, their CAP
I think the dev's are not done tweaking them yet ...

The minimatar bc is the only one who has 7 high slots and can use them all. that means more damage output. and i was able to tank a npc bs harbringer and kill it. Cap sucks though. and bonuses seems a bit wierd. it gives 5% to shield bust but has only 3 medium compared to 6 low sugesting a armor tank ???!!?

The Ferox was changed as well, now has 7 high slots (5 turret and 4 launcher), 5 med slots, and 4 lows.
