Hey all, just wanted to get an idea as far as what you all think will be the most popular BC when Shiva hits on the 17th? Not really interested on which is most powerful etc etc, just what's the one YOU want? I like that Brutix, looks could kill.....

I dont know whats gonna be the most popular
prolly is the gallente brutix or amarr dunno bout the minmatar bc
But I like caldari bc the most
too bad its a gunboat 
I hate the gun bonus on it it should have a missile bonus but thats just me

brutix most likely... since it can outperform the thorax in almost every field. Need to test the other 3 thou...

I'm gonna go with the Brutix... But on the other hand I love all gallente ships and only a select few from other races.

Seing how there's only 4 objects to choose from in the subspace of battlecruisers (studying math destroys you, by the way), I'd say Brutix.
It's got everything a cruiser needs, and it's got the looks. Plain evil, with a goatee and underdimensioned wings, that is...

the only prob is, bcs will probably cost like 1/2 of a tier 1 bs (30 mio)
and beeing a little tougher target than a thorax (for 6 mio) is quite unacceptable

yes your right the thorax is still over powerd and should be nerfed.
i know that not what you ment, but it is what it sounded like.
looking at the stats of the ships they are basicly right inbetween a crusers and a BS, so why shouldnt the price be right in between at 20-40 mill ish?

a battleship costs as much as about 300 tier 3 frigates. so by your logic, why would anyone drive a BS when they could use a frigate?
of course, this is actually happening these days anyway :P
personally, the problem with BCs as i see it, is that anyone that wants something big will fly a BS and anything that wants something they dont mind losing will fly a frig... just as it is now (i'm oversimplifying, but thats basically it).
therefore, BCs will only be used in the same way that cruisers are - as a stepping stone to battleships. well, except for the thorax, which is a bit of an anomaly as we all know :P

The battlecruisers might not have the same damage output as the battleships, but my ferox has the shields of a mildly tanked raven. 2 large t2 shield extenders ,couple of wards, shield booster, shield boost amp, with cruiser weapons in high. This makes the battlecruiser extremely hard to kill in a regular cruiser, and a couple of em could probly tank a battleship for a while. Only problem is the cap in the battlecruisers, it seems horribly limited.
