1) You are wrong on all parts on 1, with 10 mil isk you should be able to do anything you want short of capitals (which are boring anyway). Older players have wasted a months skill time each time just to be 2% or 5 % better than you at a tiny part of combat. They also tend to be unfocussed. WTF is a "serious character" anyway? The guy who has more sp in gunnery than you have total is probably only 5% more effective than you flying the same ship. He gets blobbed or jammed or tackled or messes up just as often as you do.
2)There is a 24 hour queue, they wont extend that cos logging in to change a skill can keep people interested who would otherwise quit.
3) You had a crap corp then. In a good corp the ship and fittings you want are delivered to your hangar, or at the very least everything you need is seeded on your market.
4) yeah, sux but dominion will help that for sure.
5) You are probably not looking hard enough, and dominion will probably help in that area too.
6)This is pretty much discounted by the training time difference, there is really no reason to have a support skill trained at less than 4. The increase of power over time is actually the reverse of exponential. Being able to tell how powerful a pilot is before hand would take prtty much all the fun out of pvp. (and almost no one would fight).
7) You would probably be more annoyed if you had a t2 bpo and they took it away for no apparent reason. The current situation is the best of bad choices, and as eve continues to grow and more t2 bpos go inactive/are destroyed their already small market share will continually diminish.
8) Other than astrometric aquisition i cant think of any science skills i wouldn't want at 5 tbh (ccp screwed me over there). You don't tell us what skills you are talking about so hard to discuss. Nor do you say what part of the evolution of the exploration system you experienced. Personally i have enjoyed (and made a lot of isk from) each evolution and with wormholes in the mix now its probably better than ever.
9) Everyone feels that at some point, most go inactive for a while and then come back. The thing most likely to keep you in game even when you aren't "feeling it" is a good corp.
10) You don't, you only need to train med arty spec to 4 to train large arty spec ;). It also stops everyone just training BS straight away and actually learning all aspects of the game. Its raven online enough as it is already.
I think you shouldn't reactivate until you are willing to play the game for what it is rather than an sp gathering competition. I know pilots with 1/3rd of my sp who are more effective than me in pretty much every facet of the game. "he has more sp than me" is just a lame excuse. 9 times out of 10 skills wont matter.
If you do quit can i has ur stuff, cos this 2003 80mil+ sp player has never had "2 or 3 billion" in all his time in eve (other than when selling a char), i guess your terrible debilitating skills didn't hurt you too much.
