Since I posted it on SHC anyway~

BATTAL REPORT:

Pure Blind, X-7OMU.

3 Pandemic Legion staging posses coming out of reinforced between 02:00 and 05:30. NC call alarm clock CTAs to kill the towers, two of which are faction larges and fully faction fit.

The first tower to come out was a minmatar large, NC cyno'd about 120 capitals in at range (120-140) from the POS. At this time PL had formed about 144 in fleet (PL only ****ing blobbers), mostly remote rep battleships. As they're killing our POS, we kill a Nid that warped about 15k off of their staging POS. We then tried a couple warpins but they failed pretty terribly, the first time costing us two battleships, the second time costing us a bit more.

The switch to capitals is called, PL manages to gather about 70 dreads. Hostile support lands on our station while our caps are still inside and the NC caps begin to align. We switch back to RR BS quickly and break the support camp outside the pos, redock and begin to undock dreads. Most of our dreads make it off the station undock before their dictors land, however a few get left behind.

The NC warps dreads to kill ours tackled off the station (it's a kickout) and some epic ****ing dictors on our side manage to keep their main cap group stuck on our 2-11 pos which they had reinforced as we were switching. The capitals that we had undocked were called to warp back, we engaged and started shooting dreads.

Siege green, stack all stront.

While the majority of their capital fleet was held down on our tower 50 AU away, we began in on the ones that had made it to the station. The rest of the NC fleet slowly bleeds in over the course of the first siege cycle. As the bulk of the NC fleet lands, our glorious allies Cry Havoc, Eternal Rapture and Sons of Tangra arrive, adding another 30-ish dreads to the fight, helping to even the odds.

Both sides lay into eachother for about an hour and a half, by the end of it the NC had managed to jump in multiple waves of capitals (2-3 for some people) and PL dreads were on their last siege cycle. Lag was pretty bad, nobody in PL petitioned the node to be reinforced and guns on both sides were stuck for the majority of the fight.

The final tally right now looks something like this:

Capitals:

PL: 7 losses
Cry Havoc: 10 losses
Eternal Rapture: 3 losses

Total: 20 losses

vs.

Northern Coalition: ~80 losses (killmails are still coming in, 63 on the PL board alone)

Four different dreads on two different PCs - jumped in, could load, target and lock comfortably enough - but guns wouldn't stop firing at the first no longer alive target. Same problem on each dread. Yet enough of opposing fleet were able to fire at me to take each of my four dreads down in between 30sec and 1min after they became the primary target.

Its one of those game breaking bugs that change wins into slaughters.

Been on the winning side of it before. This time on the losing side.
