Since there are NO threads about said subject, I thought I would just mention that blasterboats get horribly pooped upon by the other races, and what happens once you get into range?
Nothing... because you cant hit anything. Now this is concerning small and medium blasters, and don't say "l2p", because I will kick you in the nads.
Caleb Fury's fix for blasters:
-Quadruple the damage on them. Yep. 400% increase
-Give all Gallente Boats a bonus for webifier strength. I don't fly them so I'm just gonna say auto 90% webs since that's what I hear on teh forums. Disagree and I will kick you in the nads.
-Nerf Scorch. Dude.....really.....I got t2 lasers and Medium Pulse Spec 4 and it made me fall in love with my triple heat sink shield tanked nano-harbinger all over again. Do it for the nads.
Actually, we can blame everything on lasers tbh. With that being said, lets give other turrets the same specifications and instant ammo switching capability but just not actually call them lasers.
Now don't ask me for numbers. I saw what you guys did to poor Allen Ramses when he presented his water-tight case, so I know the whole lot of you wont respect reason and sanity when its put in your faces.

I see a troll. Do not cross this bridge.
Blasters need double base optimal. That's about it. The rest needs to be made up for in combat strategy and speed, and better bonuses and combinations. Example: Amarr use TDs and drones for medium-range damage handling or a strange form of 'melee kiting'. SDs could work to provide a quite good 'time buffer' on the Razu or Lachesis for you to deal damage to your target. The problem is staying close to your target and dealing sufficient damage. And unlike the TDs effects, the damps' protection does not last.

Troll enough to belong under a bridge, but what the hell? Wouldn't 400% be a quintupling? Since 100% is a doubling, 200% a tripling etc. Having said that, does anyone care about blasters in PvP anymore?
