-Posted this in the skills forums but since hardly anyone reads there I thought it would be better to post this here also.-
Just got myself a Retribution assault frigate. Equipped it with 4 of those nice medium pulse laser II:s. Now I got: Surgical strike 5, Small energy turret 5, small pulse specialization 2 and assault ships 2.
3.6 is the base dmg bonus of these weapons. I figured the formula would be quite easy with me just multiplying all the numbers in to a pile. thats: 3.6 x1.15 x1.25 x1.04 x1.1 = 5.9202 but in reality this becomes 5.382 Can someone explain to me how the formula works?
calculated the dmg mod without the bonus from the aussault ship skill that should give 5% dmg bonus per lvl, and now the math worked out. Is it the skill or the ship that is bugged? And does anyone else have problems with their aussault ships bonus?

Tried refitting and undocking in case it's a variant of the fitting bug?

IŠm sorry to say that this doesnŠt work either. Still 5.382, and itŠs not fun to miss out on 20% more damage on level 4 assault ship later

I got the same kind of bug, I trained assault frig from lvl 2 to 3 and no had no difference in the damage mod  ------------------------------------------

Did it work for you Joshua? Mine is still bugged, got assault ship 3 and pulse spec. 3 now but only get dmg bonus from the pulse spec.

Well, if you use artillery 5% falloff is a rather small bonus compared to most of the range bonuses going around, 10% optimal works "ok" if you use autocannons 5% falloff works ok, but 10% optimal is a tiny bonus
Comparing it with 10% optimal working well for both types of lasers and railguns, ok for blasters and all of those ships getting a good second bonus ...

I'm having the same problem.
I equiped the same weapon i had on my retribution to my punisher and it didnt change.
Repacked it etc, still stayed the same. I hope a dev reads and fixes this soon :P

Relogging doesnt work.
Neither does repackaging.
Even checked with a tech 1 weapon to see if it was only tech 2 weapons bugged. Also had someone else test and they also confirmed the same bug.
