That's where you went wrong.
Eve doesn't point out to you that you're making a loss, you have to actively think about what you're doing, and many people either can't or won't think it through properly.
Those people bringing in enough materials out of wormholes to build these subs do so, then sell them, and are happy with the isk they get without ever thinking of the difference between the simple market sell cost of their components - isk that they are effectively throwing away.
There's no actual punishment for their failure, because in a very real sense it isn't a failure... they aren't actually losing anything - their wallet goes up every step of the way. They're just not succeeding optimally. If there was a price for losing out to more efficient competition sure, they'd stop, but there isn't, so they keep providing profit opportunities (or in this case cheap subs) for the rest of us 
Good point. I suppose I was crediting all EVE players with a semblance of intelligence. I still think that if there is a difference of a factor of the order of 2-3 between the material cost and ship cost it won't be a stable situation. It remains to see which price moves to meet the other. Or maybe I'm still being too kind with my assumptions of intelligence and market forces ironing out kinks.

sorry for caps, just had too. this would seriously bring a lower bound on the prices as people would by the stuff and reprocess it to sell the materials again.

Hmm, recycling old threads for the lose, but I couldn't help but try my best to find an old topic regarding this.
Plenty of reasons why people are selling these things below-cost I agree, plenty of reasons why they shouldn't be able to sell at the manufacture cost too.
But I can't help but find it a completely bizzare oddity that you can't reprocess T3 subsystems or subsystem components when you can:
A) Reprocess T2 Components into their consituents (Ferrogel, carbides etc)
B) Reprocess Rigs into their consituents (with the reprocessing of a T1 rig producing damaged components,,, that's just absurd tbh).
Conversely, if CCP removed the anomaly by removing the ability to reprocess these and left T3 as it is, I'd be more than happy too. Or,, if there was a logical reason as to why we shouldn't be able to reprocess them, I'd love to know it.
All that said, it wouldn't be the first time there was illogical anomolies in the game,,, but I won't beat that tired old horse here.

The problem is that the module only allows one gang link. Let it have 3 like a command ship and people might acutally use it.

Sure, that's why it sucks, but that's not what I was asking.
Just doesn't seem to make any sense that you can't reprocess T3 Subsystems given you can reprocess stuff like Rigs.

It sucks because the price of t3 ships, maybe when t3 ships cost around the same as command ships or cheaper then maybe some mite use it. There plenty of other t3 subsystems that are pointless now/forever
