Originally by: Faife I admit that at first i was skeptical of VonZeppelin 6 inertia stab devoter fit, but then I tried the setup myself. To my surprise it was amazingly effective.
The empty high slots acted as effective heat sinks, allowing me to overload the double infinipoints from 99 to 149 warp strength, for those annoying ships with 100 warp stabs. The mids were no surprise: the double sensor booster, double res script Devoter being a mainstay of any post-Exodus fleet, but the lows surprised even me.
The difference between that 5th and 6th inertia stab was colossal. The moment I started dragging it from my hangar to the ship, I felt the mouse twitch. In the background wolves howled as they felt the power stirring. Hell, I didn't even know there were wolves around here. With trepidation, I attached the stab, braced myself, and clicked undock.
The ship burst from the station. I mean this literally, there was no 'slowly exiting from the undock' here, this Devoter class Heavy Interdictor came crashing out right from the walls of the station. My vision went hazy and the screen was blurring, my palms were sweating and I was having trouble concentrating. For a moment, me and the ship were one. I was dimly aware of my ship maneuvering so fast as to be able to dodge bullets. Missiles could not keep up with my Overdrive Injected Microwarp Drive, unhampered by any unsightly armor plates, and their hollow, distant explosions easily countered by the Damage Control.
I had no conscious thoughts, just an animal awareness of the double bubbles tackling people everywhere, hearing their screams as the ship bumped them to death one by one. This was a monster. This was me. I have become a monster.
I woke up this morning floating on a gate in Renyn, surrounded by wrecks, and with Concord ignoring me with a fearful deference. I don't know how I got here or what happened, but I beg of you, delete this thread before someone else learns of this ship fit. This is too dangerous for mere men to see.
10/10 would read again...did infact lolled all morning... pls never stop posting
