I am thinking of fitting a orca and a drake for worm hole space using the orca as a support ship. I am unsure how to go about setting the orca up. I know that it will carry all the stuff that the drake will need like extra ammo, hardeners and drones, i was also thinking of carrying a skiff in it to just in case i want to do some mining.
One thing i know it needs is a probe launcher but not sure if you can fit one. I would like any suggestions for a fitting thank you.

Edited by: XXSketchxx on 09/10/2009 15:04:04 When going on little "mini-expeditions" into other w-systems, I pack the following in my orca:
In cargo:
-Small gallente tower -3 days fuel -full stront
Corp hangar: -spare ammo/drones -nanite repair paste -spare mods (gas harvesters/tractor beams/salvagers) -spare probes -full spare set of modules for my nighthawk (only use the nanite repair paste if I really really have to) -improved cloaking device (usually just swap to buzzard and store nighthawk though if something goes amiss) -shield hardeners for POS
Ship maintenance bay: -Nighthawk -Salvage/harvest moa -Helios (for the orca pilot)
Orca is fit with probe launcher, improved cloak, tractor beam, shield tank and 100mn afterburner and max cargo.
Scout orca in with main in buzzard, setup POS, use orca as refit, loot collection etc. If POS is assaulted, warp orca to safespot and cloak. It is highly unlikely anyone will stick around to kill a small tower with a bunch of shield hardeners. I usually spend about 4-6 hours on this entire operation. It can be very profitable and fun.
I know this is more info than you asked for but thought I'd share by 2 isk. _____________________________________________

You need cloak and probe launcher. You can easily fit them. Also take a dedicated prober and salvager for your 2nd char. Decloak orca only if you are sure there are no other ppl around.
Good scouting before warping/jumping orca is necessary.

If you're serious about taking an Orca into a WH use your Directional Scanner A LOT. I can not stress A LOT too much. I managed to switch over to a disruptor *FROM MY POS* and warp to this guy and kill him. Also remove the check box and check for combat probes.
If you see the probes, and they aren't yours, be careful.
Things like this will happen: 2009.10.08 06:11
Victim: Avaki Corp: Long Dong Corp Alliance: United Front Alliance Faction: NONE Destroyed: Orca System: J151429 Security: 0.0 Damage Taken: 53300
Involved parties:
Name: Forranz (laid the final blow) Security: -1.9 Corp: The R.I.T.U.A.L Corp Alliance: Twilight Federation Faction: NONE Ship: Armageddon Weapon: Mega Pulse Laser II Damage Done: 53300
Most importantly: Only fly what you can afford to lose.
