There are no pirates in EVE..
Say ganker.
No PVP either, its SVS P(setup vs setup)
While you may have skills a plenty,(skillpoints) there is no skill in fighting in Eve.
Just thought you should know, otheres may tell you different, but I tell you true....

Why does everyone say pirating is not profitable? If it is done properly pirating can be a very lucrative career move for anyone.
And for the smack talking, I see more non-pirating players smacktalking then anything (Granted we smacktalk some but it's all for fun)

Being the strongest member of the corp, weighing in at approx. 9.5 million skill points, a lot will be asked of me and as a hardworking member that I am, I wish to be top notch to my comrades.
I have excellent skills and experience, but I am wondering if I can get some suggestions on being a good commander. I have read all the appropriate threads regarding pvp, and keep updated with forum threads every couple of days. The thing is, you can read all you want, but then you have to start learning. I have been in situations where I have seen an incredible commander in action to be able to emulate that.
Any suggestions and advice would be greatly appreciated and I readily accept conversation invites in-game, so do not hesitate to initiate with me.

I don't understand what people have against smacktalk. When I blow someone up I don't want to hear "Good fight :)" or "Hey that was fun I'll get you next time :P:P:P" or some other crap! When I blow someone up I want them to shout and scream at me for being mean to them, otherwise what's the point of being a pirate? Gets up my left nostril that does, messes my act up - more smack to the 3b1l p1r4t3s I say!!!!

From what i've learnt being a pirate, dont start early, funding doesnt come easy when u got no agents, and also avoid dead end 0.4's like a coupla retards i know. It is a laugh and try to get into a pirating corp, cuz it really is a laugh
you can get your sec stat back down, but it'll take a month or so and your gonna need a bs to do it (a lot of my mates have been doing this and they been getting theirs down from -9.0 etc to -0.5 in a month)

As most have said before, leave the corp u r in and either make a new corp or join a pirate corp.
There is cash to be made from pirating, but that generally comes down to ganking unsuspecting ships so its just a case of luck, and if you are doing that in empire you really need a BS to take the damage from the sentrys, a cruiser doesn't last very long
You don't actually need high skillz to start off your career, learn some EW skillz, gunnery and missile skillz and u will be all set and ready to go
Stick to searching belts for npc hunters or miners, and practice your techniques with a friend so your are prepared for the battles that lay ahead
As was said before, if you don't have a lot of cash it can be very difficult at the start, so getting into a 0.0 corp is good as you can do a spot of mining rare mins if need be

I think your referring to PvE, Npcing and mining. There is no skill involved in it. A good setup will help you win faster in PvP, but its not everything, hell I use basic crap sometimes and still omgpwn ppl. Skill is everything in PvP, game skills and game mechanic knowledge. Not trying to flame ya, but you must be part of the uberblob tactic clan. Yes that doesn't take a lick of skill.
