Because this is internet we're using, we don't have a solid definition of Carebears and everyone has different opinions. Your opinion is quite interesting, as it actually points out all those 0.0 (and low sec) suckers (some are not suckers, but most are :P) that the stuff they're doing is pretty much half a55ed stuff in between carebearing AND PvPing, which is quite true.
2. Dishonoured PvP... Yeah... EVE was full of funs when I roamed around low sec during 2006 in my Meta 4 (think that's best named module) fitted Megathron asking for 1 vs 1 or simply warping to belt/planet to wait for someone to 1 vs 1 me without asking question. Sometimes I'd get 2 vs 1 fight and sometimes 1 vs 1, but I never complained as it was not anything dishonouring. But now it's all about 'I DON'T TRUST YOU!' and always have their friends somewhere close, with rep or EW support. TBH I had to have someone in my gang 1 jump away and ready just in case my opponent dishonored the duel. It really saddens me.
Your Duel challenge was interesting, I think I heard somewhere in the forum about a carebear paying 5 times the entry pay if the challenger won the duel. Probably you, but I am not sure.
It was interesting to hear, you only needed to say if it was BC/BS/T2 or stuff like that, and you'd bring a ship with fits according to the rule.
But as someone points out in this thread, 1 vs 1 isn't really PvP any more. It's all about who has more EW. More ECM, more dampener, more nos/neut, etc. The tactic works 90% of the time, but it's quite boring to some people.
For me, I'd like to use minimum of EW (would use scram web and ECM drone) and let my guns and my control do the work. If I lose (I did lose a couple, but mostly wins) then it's due to my opponent being better than me in every aspect no matter how many excuses I could produce :P If I win, then it's of course I am better, but probably because I got lucky because the opponent slacked off somewhere.
But as I said, 1 vs 1 isn't really PvP any more when people often dishonour, or spam with EW. I am not saying it's not a viable way of PvPing, but it's just not fun watching your opponent being helplessly die after 5~10 minutes of pounding because he/she can't shoot thx to neut/nos/dampen/tracking.
3. Finally, the definition. I think we do have the word for so called PvPers of the criteria you explained: 'starts with P, and means cat'
