I didn't want to comment but these are *some* followers of the House Sarum but certainly not *all* or *the* followers of the House Sarum.
Personally I find this practice disgusting and against the traditions and the credo of the Lady Jamyl Sarum and would not want to be associated with it as a long standing loyal follower of the House.

Edited by: Tharrn on 06/11/2004 15:01:23 What is all that silly talk about 'honorable man versus man' that is becoming more and more prevalent these days? A war is not a tourney. Corporations who declared war on us complain about uneven odds, too, every now and then. What the hell do people expect?
We'll crush them where we can with whatever numbers happen to be available until they either break or retract the war. No quarter is given and none is expected in return.

Using tactical advantages, retreating when facing overwhelming odds, setting up traps and striking at the support lines of the enemy is not dishonorable.
Only a fool knows only the strategy of the headless charge and only a romantic fool will expect his enemy to grant him duels.
Things I would deem dishonorable would be: killing your enemy before he is in control of his ship, using profanity on local channels when you are trapped or have been defeated, gloating on local channels when you have won the battlefield. You can hate your enemy, but you should always respect the warrior in him. You try to kill him, he tries to kill you - that's the nature of war.
