House Aratus (HARAT)
Introduction:
House Aratus stands as one of the Great Scholarly Houses of New Eden; a House where principles of free will and human rights stand paramount in our foundations. However, these principles are not restrictive to race or kind, and as such we are open to all races. We offer a home for new players as well as more experienced capsuleers who are dedicated Scientists, Industrialists, Miners, Harvesters, Explorers and players interested in PvE as well as PvP.
Most of us have real life obligations that can at times limit commitment to the Corporation; this is something we do understand. However, we also expect our members to share in our desire to help House Aratus prosper and grow through teamwork and dedication.
Objectives:
- To establish a state of independence through the acquisition of wealth. This will be achieved through Industry, Manufacture and Mining to begin with, allowing us then to sell throughout New Eden.
- Research and Salvaging will allow us to open more opportunities through commerce and in the longer term, the acquirement of more offices in the main Eve territories where we will better be able to represent the different races, followed by our own Starbase.
- Long term exploration will also give us the opportunity to better learn the many corridors of the galaxy, opening up the way for discoveries and prospects to areas rich in capital and resources.
- Our ability to haul large quantities of our assets to any given point will lend freedom to our ventures; whereas our fleet of mining vessels will secure the flow of minerals to our industry under the watchful eye of our military.
- The careful opportunity for alliance merging is on the table with other like-minded Corps, as this will give us the capability to accept the challenge of constructing our own Starbase. These frontier outposts will give us the prestige only favoured to those who can assume such a challenge as well as the flexibility and authority associated with them.
- A House Aratus Marine Corp will also be formed once DUST 514 goes live. We have already moved forward with planning, organization and structure with the limited information that is available.
