For Immediate Release:
As a Gallenteean, freedom and the right to choose have been ideas which I've heard about since childhood, but never quite understood. Living a comfortable life safely within the borders of the Federation, I never had to wonder what life would be like without the rights and privileges afforded to me by virtue of nothing more than circumstances of my birth. When I became a capsuleer and sought employment in Metropolis, that changed.
We have all heard of the billions of souls enslaved by the Amarr empire, but there is a difference between glossing over a news item and seeing a mother dragged away from her screaming children before your very eyes. Innumerable human beings- no different from you or I except for place of origin- live under whip and lash, without hope. Their centuries of struggle against their tormentors have been met with indifference, token gestures, and lip service from those who already enjoy the freedom the Minmatar slaves so strongly desire. Our governments clearly intend no real action on this issue, now or in the foreseeable future. Meanwhile, the Amarr empire continues to flourish and enjoy free and unrestricted trade and interaction with the rest of the world, their unspeakable crimes remaining a pink elephant which all see and none acknowledge. Slavery will continue as long as the hearts and minds of the people of the world are indifferent to it. Our political figures and news media have no desire to bring attention to this issue, so the responsibility falls to us. We will force the people of New Eden to focus their eyes on the suffering that happens right in front of them every day.
From this day forward, we will disrupt activity in Amarr space as much as possible. Anyone making use of the natural resources in Amarr or working for the empire will find themselves in our crosshairs. If you engage in activity that supports or abets the slavery of human beings, you will find your property destroyed, your escape pod under fire, your trade routes under fire, and your markets disrupted by people like us who are willing to risk our lives so that others may enjoy the freedom we take for granted.
The Hand of Maak continues to strike.

Just as a Gallente, to be talking with two mouths. You talk of peace and prosperity for one race while bring war and destruction to another. While you seem to find friends, and will find many, you are offering yourself as an enemy of the Empire. What you propose is to wage war on not only those of the military but also those of the non-military. For being Gallente I have only one thing to say to this û the usual.
So, as Grr has said you have been added to a list of enemies of many. Though, you have found some friends you will find an overwhelming amount of enemies than friends, and for this I warn you know what thy is doing before thy takes long strides. Where you place yourself might affect where you will end, and their might be no looking back, nor escape. You, sir, are to create your own hell.

I agree, actually. Though who is morally correct is certainly up for debate, I must admit that if they actually do what they say they're going to do (As opposed to what they may very well do, which is simply become another garrison flying either th U'K or SF banner) They should be applauded for their commitment to their morals.
On the pragmatic side of things, I'm still running a pool. 5m buy in, longevity by months please ('less than one' would be 'one month', and is an acceptable wager).

So far, our operations have been directed at the heart of Amarr space- mainly the Throne Worlds. So far, our campaign has been successful, bringing down several ships, interrupting many operations, and even producing a turncoat. In a short amount of time, we have already found ourselves to be succeeding at our cause, and we intend to continue until slavery in New Eden is a memory. |

I am offended at the suggestion that the Minmatar people need the help of Gallenteans, Intaki, turncoat Amarr or any other non Minmatar.
Go back to the Federation, and leave Minmatar problems to the Minmatar people.

Quite.
But when there are so many out there, who "want to help the Minmatar", what motivation is there for young minmatar to do things for themselves? Foreign help is as dangerous a drug as Vitoc. What happens when the Gallente self-destruct in a mess of internal politicking?

I think you'll find that most Minmatar know the merit of self-reliance within the tribes' greater community. It is the role of their peers to ensure it remains so. Just because we accept aid does not tie us to the aider beyond mutually agreed contracts. As an example, consider what the esteemed Elders did with the Gallente's resources they so liberally handed to us.
As for the future of the Federation, remember that many Minmatar reside there. The Republic's future, and perhaps of the Minmatar as a free people, is also bound with theirs. As equals. --------------------------------------- Outface the depths of evil with clarity --------------------------------------- |

I take offense to this. Whether the minmatar need help or not the fact that one should so idly spit in the face of genuine benevolence is not easily forgotten.
To question motives and directives is easy to any man, but to reject aid and political securities and to procaliam the gallenteans as Political schemers looking to make a quick buck riding a wave of frenetic minmatar economic growth is apalling.
Thinking that for one moment your republic would be anything doing what it has off its own back is purely nonsensical. May be not a degree as to disenfranchise its own existance , the republic is more than capable of keeping its borders on its own. But to state that its economic growth could sustain itself without gallentean help is folly. Gallenteans have been involved (commercially or otherwise) in many of the large projects the minmatar have undertaken.
However it is not up to you, and Midas Mulligan has at least my respect though perchance not my support at this time.
That is not to say however the gallenteans have not thrived on minmatar cultural knowledge and understanding. minmatar trade has certainly boosted the federation and I beleive this is a mutually beneficial relationship.

Words, words and more words... excuse my pragmatism, but trading between Freedom Extension stations is not hampering the growth of the Empire. And if you are hiding under CONCORD wings to attack fledgeling loyalist corporations... I'd just advise you to grow some much needed appendages and go join Ushra'khan. Playing docking games over Oris isn't fooling anybody. ________________________________________ .

The Amarr want to help the Minmatar. We all saw how well that worked. Gallente and others wanting to help is the same in principle. Foreigners telling Minmatar what to do. To which I say No!
No Foreigner should ever tell a Minmatar what to do.
Quote: To question motives and directives is easy to any man, but to reject aid and political securities and to procaliam the gallenteans as Political schemers looking to make a quick buck riding a wave of frenetic minmatar economic growth is apalling.
I did not proclaim that. It's interesting that you do. Very interesting indeed.
Quote: Thinking that for one moment your republic would be anything doing what it has off its own back is purely nonsensical.
And so it begins. "Those poor minmatar are incapable and need our help" Your patronising attitude is revealed.
Quote: May be not a degree as to disenfranchise its own existance , the republic is more than capable of keeping its borders on its own. But to state that its economic growth could sustain itself without gallentean help is folly. I said nothing about economic growth. Interesting that you did.
You see it's like this: Every blow struck in our name by foreigners reinforces the views held by the old men of Amarr. That the Minmatar are savages that would be beaten into submission, if it wasn't for the foreign help they receive. The old men of Amarr can then shout down progressive voices that would reform the empire and seek peace with the Republic.
With no foreign help, then it becomes clear, even to the old men, that the Minmatar cannot be defeated. They will be dumbstruck, and then they will be shouted down by the progressives, and assuming the Empress keeps her word as stated in her coronation, then slavery will be abolished in the reformed Empire. We can make that the condition for peace.

I hear it's already available on the underground markets with some catchy tagline. I'm sure the Empress has a whole crate of them by now.
And look at something long enough indeed... good one.

1] Wait, what? 2] I suspect that the Amarr Territories would be more than happy to meet this demand. Release of the slaves would commence around the same time as you began building the numerous churches and monasteries required after you met our demand, which is of course that Amarr became your state religion, the primary tenets of which were reinforcable by law. I can forsee a glorious age of peace and prosperity between our people, which would within the Reformed Amarr Territories be seen as both equal under God. After that we would only need to convince the State and Gallente to stop the senseless violence and embrace the True Path.
The Reclaiming would then be nearly complete. What a wonderful idea. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Jakiin Holder Heir of the Kingdom 'Pacifist Reclaimer' |

For those who suspect that I am somehow a conduit for Gallente influence, let me clear this up right here and now: I am not connected or related to the Gallente government in any way. It was the failure of the government to resist the Caldari and to uphold its loyalties to the Minmatar that led me down this path in the first place.
Meanwhile, our group remains small, but effective. I would like to remind those who predicted our failure that we still regularly raid Amarr space and destroy barges and industrial ships, and disrupt the efforts of pilots running missions for the Amarr as well. We have also managed to bait many pilots into attacking us and getting destroyed by CONCORD themselves.
I would also like to acknowledge the members of Ushra'Khan who have shown their support here. We admire you and your efforts and are honored by your recognition.

Regardless of your claims to not be affiliated with the Gallente, your efforts for the Minmatar are not something that should be accepted by either the public nor the government. Terrorism is not a solution. Your disruption to Amarr civilian operations not only causes the small colonies consisting of all races, including Minmatar slaves to suffer, but also increases the hate against the Minmatar by other races and our peoples disapproval of your Gallentean meddling in Minmatar affairs. Terrorists are not hero's...a true freedom fighter can be, but violence is not a long-term solution...and every wise warrior must accept this. Terrorist acts indeed awaken someones conscious, but their perspective of your goals is going to be skewed by the media from which you gain coverage...not to mention the number of civilian casualties who have families that you most likely don't take into consideration. ------------------------------------------------
