Who we are
VIV was founded over 3 years ago. We are a group of fun-loving mature pilots with experience in all walks of eve life. As a member of The Initiative Mercenaries Alliance, living in 0.0, we are reenforcing our PvP backbone. Our Corp and alliance FC's are among the best in the game. If you want PvP action we can certainly accomodate your desires.
What we are looking for
 PvP pilots with at least 12 mill SP. You should be able to field a T2 fitted Battleship.
Selfsufficient. We help each other when needed, but we are not going to hold your hand.
Able to follow direction and maintain fleet discipline.
Be able to use voice coms TS and Vent, and have a working Mic.
A good sense of humor.
What we offer
Experienced FC's
Large and small scale roaming, camps and fleet ops.
Corp run ship replacement program.
Corp run PvP incentive payouts. That's right, you get paid to PvP.
0.0 space to refill your pockets so you can keep in the action.

We keep getting bigger and the quality of our Cadets is top notch.
Look, there are plenty of good corps our there. We're not the end all and be all of corps. But we're a solid bunch of pilots, from our grizzled vets to our wet eared rookies. It's important through all of this amazing and complicated Universe that we fly around in that we remember we're here to have fun. Otherwise, what's the point?

You guys are now with The Initiative, or is it some Initiative associated merc group? How much space do you have and what sort of pirates are there for ratting. I used to be IRC, after the fall I moved into an empire corp with an earlier IRC member (who'd left pre-war). Looking to rejoin 0.0, would rather be with people I'm familiar with. What else can you tell us about your digs, and your alliance, and would you be able to take a smallish corp of some 15 players - 33 with alts?

We are in a sister alliance to The Initiative. Preparing for the upcoming Dominion expansion. We are in Immensea. It's got Angel rats. We are settling in nicely. Between the two alliances we have lots of Ops. Good rep in EU and US timezones.
I would suggest you join our in-game channel "virtual-hangout" and talk to one of our directors. I'm sure we can work out something to get you guys into the corp.

Hope you guys are all doing well. As Hiro said, Mercs was created in anticipation of the Dominion expansion. We are a sister Alliance of The Initiative, not "pets". We currently have space in Immensea, as well as Detorid and now Scalding Pass.
