PS, never get into drinking competitions over Uzzo with a greek, you'll lose.If I wasn't in Tasmania I would be there for the event too... Tasmania sounds as the remotest place we got support from. Thank you for your kind words. Allow me to say that Tasmania is one of my dream destinations too for diving. Cannot wait to see the weedy hypocampus swimming in his natural habbitat. Cheers and thanks
hehe There are a few Tasmanians playing, not many but some. As for diving, it is very good here (very low risk of sharks this far south).
I encourage everyone who is able an has means to go to this event. You will take home amazing memories of Greece for life. |

EVE players should never be designated drivers.
Perhaps chipping in for / organising a minibus service to take our drunken remains back to Athens is not a bad idea? |

Yes we thought of that, since the majority of the greek players live in a semi comfortable distance we are going to offer a shuttle service for them. We realisse this is a big expense for everyone commign so we got into great lengths doing everythign in our power to give options for all incomes.
Myself will most probably not have time to sleep and if i will i will most probably do so on the beach.
Please all keep in mind that booking as a preset a room with strangers (automixup) is only available as an option for the summercamp and not for Paolo Hotel and Poseidon resort. For these you will be charged per person for double and triple rooms accordingly. If you wish still to arrange a mixup for Paolo or Poseidon please contact us via the main page at http://www.summerfest.eu/contact.php
Please be so kind and book as early as posible because we need to be able to make an early headcount to provide the best possible services. |

I live in Athens, so I'll definitely be there. In reference to some of the previous posts, don't worry folks, Greece'll still be here long after any crisis, and anarchy has never been an issue. So, here's to seeing you all at the fan fest in Loutraki. ...also, I owe some friends a few beers (you know who you are). ;-) |

Great news and thank you CCP for the opportunity of discussing this great game over tanning, quality food and party.
I have a summer house around there and I can assure everyone that it is quite nice place to be.

Ok so my brain hurts: Summerfest is listed as being 14-16th... yet you can book a trip to sightsee in Athens on the 15th. If we do this, will we be missing out on EVE Geekiness?

No, EVE gigness is not to be missed in anyway. As a matter of fact we saw that by shifting a bit the shedule fo the variosu acticities we can do more. But on the other hand our day will be split into having fun and enjoying the summer in greece as well as doing eve related stuff. |

Then you are right here! EVE on a beach, the EVE DUST Summerfest 2012, is waiting for you! We invite you to our large Summerfest in Loutraki, Greece from September 14 to September 16, 2012. We also have a paintball tournament in the DUST 514 style (without planetary bombardment, maybe next yearGǪ), sightseeing trips around the country and of course beach parties. CCP t0rfifrans, CCP Guard and CCP Tallest will present the newest information in the appropriate classical way: in an amphitheater located next to the sea at the amazing Poseidon resort. We, the organizers, are a multinational team of EVE players that have selected the Poseidon resort for its sheer beauty and very affordable prizes. For the GÇ£pro touchGÇ¥ of this event we have full support of the travel and conference organization specialists from Norstar company (http://www.norstar.gr/). It is amazign to see how many people are commign and from what distant places they are commign from.
As i sahred allready in the twitter and facebook pages of the summerfest i will repeat here that we landed a super sponsor this past few days and there are some last minute modifications to the best.
I hope to see you all there.
More details shortly
p.s
I spoke with some guys of a SEAL team and they found it very interesting to come see the lectures and offcourse participate in the Paintball tournament if they are available. I think that Guard will need some snake implants if he wishes to make it out intact. |
