The USA has not fought a war against a well equiped army for a very long time now and people seem to forget that a mig can carry very effective anti ship missiles."
I suppose they could, though I also suppose we could get their general public to rise up against their government... Why else would America have green berets and the cia?
America has more subs and these subs are also higher tech, between the two ours would win... Though if you mean nuke subs then well nobody wins.
The su 27 and su 30 flankers are good aircraft, however the su 30 is proportional to the f15e and nothing more, we have more f15s then they do su30s... Not to mention we have f22s.
We had sub sonic harriers take out supersonic jets in the falklands so just because your jets are more advanced doesnt mean you will automaticaly win
But in all honestly all China would need to do is stop the cash flowing into America and it would have them on their knees.
Assuming both soldiers are trained just as much, which wins a musket or an m16?
Ofcourse there are situations where the musket will win by pure chance, but what the extra tech gives you is a better chance.... However an f22 going up against a su30 would be laughable at best, the su30 would not even be able to see the f22 before it is shot out of the sky.
Hell on my airforce base we had a test between a novice f22 pilot and 4 veteran fe15 eagle pilots and the f22 danced all over them.
Cashflow to america? China doesn't buy things from America, hell America doesn't export very much as it is.
i think he was refering to your stimulas packages and money borrowed by the federal govement to keep that 600b+ defence budget going and 2 wars and other stuff. where do you think all that money comes from, outta obama's ass?
Shame there are only 187 f22's, not gunna win you many wars, its getting scrapped because its too expensive, has a clear lack of air to air combat mission and does not have sufficient multi-mission capability, f-35 is cheaper and those pesky russian's and chinese have not shown their new fifth gen fighter programmes yet making it unnecessary.

Shame there are only about 200 f22s? Well it is also a shame that china only owns 176 su27s/su30s.
As far as the money goes, cut unnecessary programs and stop paying any and all chinese debts as they are "terrorists"... We would do fine.
EDIT:Also 1 war, not 2 as we are currently leaving iraq.

If you honestly believe you would be fine by telling china where to stick it then lol . Getting blown up by china's economic bomb would be rather amusing to watch tho and ofcourse Europe would reap the rewards faster than it is atm with the Euro swtich

Obviously you didn't read my tariffs are bad post, just a hint I am against limiting china with tariffs... All I was saying was if we did then calling them terrorists would be the way we would do it.
If they launch we launch, trust me... Europe wont be having fun.

China gets a veto in the UN so you wont get any backing for that one plus nobody would step in to bail you out after pulling that kind of move.

Worked well for britain =p.
Also I am not mad, I find this conversation jolly fun infact.
Lastly you think America would actually care what the UN thinks? If I remember correctly America has a big streak of telling the UN to kiss it's ass.
