I have two questions to all of you:
1. How much profit have you been able to make in a single day? Was it a succesful scam, a long day of mining or a lucky huge bounty? Explain how, and how much.
2. What is your usual pattern for making money? Have you tried out different ways and come up with the best solution or do you still complete random tasks depending on your state of mind? How much can you make with just mining? Do you even have a mining team that gather frequently? There are numerous ways - but which do YOU prefer?
I'm looking forward to some real interesting and fun stories and opinions. Don't hesitate to write!

Probably the biggest single-day isk gains will come from pirates nailing an indy running 100k zyd or something.
Biggest single-day gain that I know of was a long time ago, when greenhornet nailed a CA indy with something like 100k zyd and 60k mega.
Actually, forget that. Biggest single-day gains would have to be tech2 BPOs coming in. Getting a 6b isk heavy assault BPO might almost be worth the 9 months of research agent missions. -------------------------------------------- CONCORD: Kneecapping Pilots for Misdemeanors Since 2003 |

Biggest single gain I made was pirating 2 battleships. I asked them for 50mil to be set free.
One of them decided he would pay for both of them, but kindly added an extra 0 to the payment.
He sent me a couple of amusing mails over the incident, mostly requesting a 450mil refund.
I informed him that as a compromise I wouldn't pirate him again for a month.

I think the biggest actual gain I've heard of was the guy who sold one trit to TTI for 1 billion isk. Accidentally. I think there was some confusion in the market.
Me? Probably three Basic Mem Implants in one day. This was before the recent price rises.
Severe And Moses was content to dwell with the man:and he gave Moses Zipporah his daughter. And she bare him a son, and he called his name Gershom:for he said, I have been a stranger in a strange land. |

So far, my biggest day of profit came from something as simple as completing two long cargo hauls for a client in one session. 750,000 ISK. Chump change to most veterans, but not to me. :)

My best day was a 2-3 hours session with missions, and making 5 mil isk. Have to say ship parts are sold cheap __________________________________________________ "Time will reveal everything, but only once so be prepared." |

My biggest return was one day that I decided to just go npcing all day in 0.0 to get my cash reserves up. There was a lot of very nice high end rats available, so I made just over 100mil in bounties. As I was finishing up, I saw an Angel Trailer on the scanner. Eagerly seeking it out, I found an NPC mining op going on which netted me a little more in bounty prizes but more importantly, 80mil worth of isogen which sold very quickly.
So just short of 200mil in a day. That didn't include the load of super named gear (it was the day after the patch which broke all the npcs so some were constantly dropping nothing but the very best of loot. Angel Seraphim were always dropping a named siege, a named large projectile, a named shield booster and a named shield extender) that I couldn't be bothered ferrying to Empire to sell. Most of it is still lying in my hangar.

Well, it may not sound like a lot but I think it was a important mission that I got almost 2mil, between loot, bounties, and agent rewards that is.

1. Last weekend I received a T2 frigate gun BPO from my research agent and sold it a few hours later for 950mil. Before that the best day was selling implants - made about 60mil.
2. I do whatever I fancy at the time; tends to be agent missions or rat hunting. I hate mining, so have no idea how much you can normally generate from it.
I have a habit of spending more than I make by buying stuff on escrow - I really need a bug to crash the escrow system for a few weeks

Most I made in a day was selling a dominix, but I don't suppose it's really a gain since it's all assets and was spent again at once. Actual gain was I think finding and escrowing a 25% cargo ex-panda for 11 millions.
As for earning money, I tend to do whatever I feel like until it makes me feel sick. Then I do the other thing. So either missions or mining then
Once level 4 missions come out though I think mining will drop off the bottom; since boring + less isk = why? ------------
We come in peace. And tanks. |

I think the person with the most money made in the shortest time is that guy that sold the infamous single unit tritanium worth 100M ISK to that idiot of Taggart Transdimensional.
Just one click away from a fortune...
Can't remember their names anymore though..someone can refresh my memory?

when I found an empty scorpian battleship floating in a 0.0 space. Surely i thought, this was a trap but I decided to temp the fates.
To make a long story short, I docked into the battleship and flew it home. _______________________________________________

I came home from the pub one night not seeing too straight. Logged on to Eve to see who was about. Went to check my 2 labslots to see how they were doing, and found another 4 lab slots available. Snapped them up pretty quick, and auctioned them off for around 20 mil a slot. 80 mil net profit
