Hello
I heard if you reach 8, 9 and 10 faction standing you get an expensive rare blueprint, I'm wondering if this is true. And if it is, does it only apply to empire faction standings? Not Sisters of EVE for instance? Or is it all?

As far as I know, you don't receive anything for reaching a standing of 8, 9, or 10. I had reached 10 with the Caldari Navy awhile ago (lost it due to failing a bugged epic arc mission) and didn't receive anything other than the satisfaction of reaching 10.

Check out COSMOS. Specifically, this site was helpful: German COSMOS Tutorials
If you get 8.2 unmodified (not taking into account Connetion skill) Caldari then you can turn in tags to Kaiko Maina for a Caldari Navy Hookbill BPC, 2 Run. 9.4 standings for the Caldari Navy Caracal agent and 9.9 for the Raven Navy Issue agent.
I only get this off the thread and reading the forums. Haven't got those standings yet, myself, but worth a look.

So Dretzle, a reward comes from a specific agent within the faction and not the faction itself? Just tags are needed or are LP's needed too?

Your +10 standing is with the Caldari Navy corporation, not the Caldari faction.
The rewards are available to people who achieve these high standings with the faction itself.

I'm at 9.8 with Caldari now, it's incredibly hard to get to 9.9 from here, but i keep trying

so with my 9.99 caldari standing can i go straight to agent with tags and get the bpc? or do i have to do the cosmos missions first ... never done a single my standing is from regular missions alone

with 9.99 standings you can just go to each of the 3 agents offering up the faction bpc's turn in the tags and saunter off with your bpc's.

Oh and that German link is awful, use this instead: cosmos 101
Quick guide on how to get high standing:
- Run all the Cosmos missions, finishing the last mission from an agent counts as a storyline
- Run all the datacenter agents (google them), this will cost about 250m in tags to do
- Join militia related to your faction of choice and get all the promotions; militia will tell you how
- Grind missions and run the storylines you get for every 16 missions you finsh
- Since Apopchrypha its possible to run 12 tutorial agants for every empire (again google this)
Meh, that link looks like it's pretty much a translated copy of the German link. The German one seems to have more information, and linked around for better navigation. Just use Google to translate.
