Currently, the 0 ("zero") and the O (capital o) look very similar in the UI with the current font size and type face, and all the mistakes it causes can be quite annoying.
When you are out and about in 0.0 and you're quite new to a place, it happens quite often that somebody reads out a system name, but you don't know where it is. A simple solution is to just type it out in a chat window, link it as a solar system and use 'set destination' or 'show on map' with the resulting link. However, very often the 0 gets called out as an O, which means this doesn't work. And this is just one example of how it gets in the way.
In computer science, a 0 gets often displayed as + for readability purposes, and a change like that should be very simple to implement but really make life easier for us capsuleers out in 0.0 where the names are already cryptic enough without this type of nonsense. TIA!

Also, the difference between 8's and 9's is very difficult to distinguish. Minor changes that would have significant impacts (for the better) on UI.

O 0 D need to be more distinguished.
Another problem I often have is with the number one followed by a dot. When you write this the dot is often swallowed in the "serif" of the 1.

The font is a part of the UI and also considered as a part of EvE "experience." Thus you shall never have larger or otherwise easier to read fonts.
