I looked at the myrmidon and with dual reps it really doesn't offer the tank i was looking for so i thought i would go stupid and fit three medium reps as you do :)
[Myrmidon, Stupid] Medium Armor Repairer II Medium Armor Repairer II Medium Armor Repairer II Damage Control II Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II
10MN MicroWarpdrive I Medium Capacitor Booster II, Cap Booster 400 Medium Capacitor Booster II, Cap Booster 400 Warp Disruptor II X5 Prototype I Engine Enervator
Dual 180mm 'Scout' Autocannon I, EMP M Dual 180mm 'Scout' Autocannon I, EMP M Dual 180mm 'Scout' Autocannon I, EMP M Dual 180mm 'Scout' Autocannon I, EMP M Dual 180mm 'Scout' Autocannon I, EMP M Dual 180mm 'Scout' Autocannon I, EMP M
Auxiliary Nano Pump I Auxiliary Nano Pump I Auxiliary Nano Pump I
Hammerhead II x5 Warrior II x5 Vespa EC-600 x5 Hobgoblin II x5
Now with my skills and a standar exile booster i think it gets a pretty decent tank of 587Dps with is cap stable until you run out of boosters however the dps is crap at only 281 with hammerhead II's.
What are peoples opinions? I know it's stupid i just thought it would be a fun thing to try.

Back in 2004 I ran a 3 rep apoc. It was mental. It died to like 3 battleships though :(
Probably best if you just whack 1600mm on and go for efhp in all honesty! :(

1v1, sure, you'll probably beat most BCs if you don't run out of cap. But add even a single t1 Cruiser ontop of an enemy Battlecruiser and your toast. Shield buffer nanofit imo. However, on another note, I now have one of those annoying sigs. |

Active tank Myrms are very fun for very small engagements. There great when its less then 5 people on either side, outside of that there pretty meh. --- I am taking pre orders for Navy Armageddons |

Edited by: Galliana Foresta on 16/10/2009 22:14:33 That Myrm would die to a single, well-fit Harbinger as even 3 reps can't keep up with the incoming damage, and your DPS isn't sufficient to kill anything in a reasonable amount of time.
Go 1600 plate, resists and maybe a single rep for lulz, couple magstabs and some blasters up top, or gyros/autocannons if that's really your poison.

With Exile boosters too?
Plate up.

Some people do fly a three repper Myrm with two cap injectors as you've outlined above so it's certainly viable. If I remember correctly, Kessah is pretty well known for flying such a fit. That being said, I usually go with either the two rep fit or a gank/shield buffer fit. Three reps seems a bit overkill for most situations... ----- The Python Cartel - My Pirate Blog |

Use 800s.
The double rep myrm is absolutely worthless as it doesn't tank enough to DO anything.
Triple reps is win win win.

Thats just simply not true, my dual rep myrm, with standard exile to match the OP has a 606 dps tank, add heat and its 749 tanks, while doing 425 dps with 2 medium neuts. Its simply one of the best solo ships i have ever flown

Its not a silly fit actually, also use nano rep bots in two of the rig slots.
its able in the extreme, to tank 1100 dps for a short period of time.
I use this fit, ive been banging on about it to in game mates for awhile. Use 800's though and with t2 180's + 2 Orges t2, 2 Hammerheads t2 and a Hogoblin t2 you'll do 501 DPS.
