Since when are ransoms difficult, your just looking for a way to enable your self to feel ok about doing it.You still fail for the ransom.

Let me explain our corporate policy regarding ransom
Yes, our ransom agent is fail and is usually unable to effectively communicate the details of a successful transfer.

There is a lot of paperwork to complete a ransom. To complete this, the ransom agent must:
1. Open the necessary escrow account
2. Provide the account number to the ransomee
3. Ransomee must wire the funds
4. Ransom Agent must confirm the funds have been transferred
5. Print the receipt
6. Send [via passenger pigeon] to the Drekla headquarters
7. Once there, it is removed from the pigeon's leg
8. Read to the CEO of drekla by a castroti to the tune of Faure's requiem
9. The CEO then issues a memorandum of understanding between Drekla and and the corporation of said ransomee
10. The memorandum is then vetted by attorneys from both corporations
11. Once vetted, a signatory meeting must be scheduled and both CEO's must be present at the time of signing in order to validate the document.
12. Once signed, the Drekla CEO then issues an internal memo which is [often lost by our mail courier] circulated to the staff members of The Drekla Corporation
13. Once each member receives and reads the memo we will stop shooting said ransomee.

So, given the difficulty of the ransom process, i am sure you can see why there has been some confusion regarding the honoring of ransoms.
