Single-man corps simply don't get wardecced, unless they ask for trouble. I (was) in a one-man corp for ages and only ever got wardecced when I setup a POS without defences in highsec. I got decced because I was stupid.
Sorry , going to have to cry bull**** here.
Single man and small corps get wardecced all the time, normally for 24hours or so, just enough time for the aspiring pirate to get a few ganks and improve his kill ratio, and possibly get some isk from a ransom if he feels like it. As soon as the sheep are fleeced, he moves on.
Its Eve, It happens; Happened to me a few times.
Apart from that, i'd support your 50% tax for older players in npc corps, but i'd start it once a character reached 5 million sp
I would sup with the devil and forget to use a long spoon if it led to me spitting on the grave of nationalism.

Slightly Off Topic here for a sec...
... I see people constantly refering to Mission Runners that make 30 to 40 million isk/hour.
One question: Where The Hell Do You Come Up With These Figures?!
... I'm starting to wonder that Maybe, Just Maybe... I'm not doing it right... It's disheartening.
Anyhow... We now return you to this Threadnaught of over-used rhetoric, and un-necessary outrage Already in Progress.

Run with a second account it halves the time needed to do missions. Secondly use both chars to salvage and loot. Though personally it rounds more up to 20-30 mil/h.

Appreciated advice, Serpents... Unfortunately, My other account went inactive back in January. I'm stuggling to keep this one going as it stands through PLEX.

This is a very intelligent choice by CCP. But I am very surprised the decision was made given that alot of people dislike player corps and/or enjoy the npc corp chat.
In my estimation, I believe this is a bit risky for the following reasons:
1. Many individuals play solo due to RL or other reasons and may be turned off by player corps 2. The tax will reduce Mission runners incomes a bit and this may (rightly or wrongly) anger the soloists into leaving EVE rather than joining a playercorp 3. The tax does not provide any incentives or benefits except provide the same protection as before - INVULNERABLE TO WAR DECS 4. The tax does not really encourage players to join player corps because the tax rate there is variable. And many people are aware that people can be erratic - hence the reason to avoid player corps 5. This decision does appear to bend to the demands by certain people on the forums who have been demanding the taxation and ultimately the removal of NPC corps. Alot of people have this perception that a bunch of noobs in small player corps will actually undock and fight - yeah right
If I may, I will be blunt here because I have been around EVE alot longer than this character would suggest:
EVE prides itself on scamming, killing, trickery, corp theft and broken friendships and agreements. All the marketing material points to this as benefits. But this is exactly the oppposite of what player corps should be. But people, alot of people see the marketing material, and the posts and this sticks with them. A player tax of 10% or even 20% is not going to erase this perception.
If I were CCP, this is what I would do:
1. start selling the 'sizzle of player corps' - case studies on long-term players in strong corps 2. improve the WAR dec mechanics - shorter periods of war, specific objectives - i.e. kill 10 ships - war ends 3. improve FW alot more - maybe 0% tax in FW as the carrot and replace the new ship with T1 frigates - gives people a good reason to fight, and try out PVP.
Thats the bottom line. Good luck CCP.

So really, the Missioneers should bunch together , form their own corp if they want those taxes back, or kick back and enjoy the war dec invulnerability

Lots of skill points, good missions ships (at least full tech 2 and a Navy Raven), Amarr or Caldari missions and a good conversion of LP to isk.
People that get 40+ million hour convert LP at over 2.000 isk for each Lp and have the special connection skills trained to max level plus they refine and sell all the low level metaitems instead of selling them to refiners.
It is not the "immediate" isk that you get from mission payout and bounties.

So the secret to a high income from missions is to use two accounts? It would seem the claims of vast income are yet another cheap lie.
Divide the fake claims by two and we seem to have 10 to 20 million ISK per hour from highSec missioning.
And one less reason for claiming mission runners get a significant economic advantage. It almost suggests that CCP's economists and coders tuned highSec L4 missions to deliver about the same ISK per hour as (untaxed) highSec mining.

yes, or fly a Marauder and only loot/salvage within tractor range

nope, i can pull 30mil/hr of minmatar missions in amarr/caldari space with 1 account... closer to 40-ish with my alt salvaging the room once i got aggro. i have a stable of bc's and bs's ready fitted and armed for the major types of missions i get, including a speedboat for Recon 3of3.
did i spend roughly 20mil SP on gaining that isk/hr? yes! did i have to get perfect refining skills/standings and perfect Prod Eff.? yes! do i mission far from mission hubs? better believe it do i cut costs where i can (like making my own ammo)? damn straight!
all this is hard for most people to do since it required literally over a year to figure out on my own (most of it on making the 'phoon work great)... it's much easier to go to Motsu, grab a Raven and CNR fit off Battleclinic and grind away.
but all this can be outdone by ratting in one of the few GOOD 0.0 systems (when its just you), or if you are a pirate running lowsec level 4's. or mining ABMC in nullsec (if you are alone), or mining ABMC in wormhole (if you can get it out)... probably a few more ways to make 40mil/hr or more than that.
