Edited by: Garst Tyrell on 23/10/2009 22:16:13 Edited by: Garst Tyrell on 23/10/2009 22:10:48 An hour ago the Star Fraction clumsily dropped 5 carriers and a bs fleet on no more than half a dozen subcapital SF wardecs on the Sosala gate in Kamela, comprised of No.Mercy Corp.
The challenge was quickly accepted with first blood being drawn by No.Mercy with Jade Constantine's pilgrim popping painfully, her yells of frustration broadcast over every channel. She returns in an archon, her associates with a fleet of overwhelming firepower to avenge their fallen leader. Unfortunately for the Star Fraction, pseudo-anarchist dogs are no more respected or loved than the common gatecamping pirate, probably less so, and the Amarr Imperial Crusade stood firm, shoulder to shoulder, and promptly opened fire on the Star Fraction revenge fleet, their tanks failing futilly, the few pods we deigned to spare warping away in disgrace. The enemy carriers tackled and the crusaders at their zenith, the ragtag forces of the Minmatar republic suddenly appear to attempt to turn the flanks of the crusaders. Quickly repulsed they are surprised to find the organized and merciless forces of the Caldari state landing on top of the Star Fraction carriers and opening fire, joining their Amarr blood brothers in their purge of "fortress Kamela".
The first carrier falls, splitting at the seems. Jade has her forces reshipping into every and anything they have nearby, forcing them to fly foolhardly back into the fray only to be volleyed and popped before their guns could even build a charge. The next carrier dies as the Republic returns to try and save the doomed Fraction pilots, even one brave Republic pilot seiging his Moros at 0 on the Sosala gate. Jade watches his archon wrench in two, the "free captains" in his crew burning to a painful, fitting end. They burn once more in hell, their torment eternal for siding with such foolish and naive "free captains". The Minmatar flee to range, impotent as Jasmine Constantine's Thanatos attempts to slowboat off the grid. The State is merciless. They run the thanatos into the ground, creating a new asteroid belt for the navigation beacons to avoid. Star Fraction runs out of ships, runs out of fuel, fittings, and courage, and docks as their last carrier pilots scream for help in their comms. No help comes. the carrier dies followed by the brave but ultimately suicidal Moros pilot. The Caldari state and Amarrian crusaders consolidate on the wrecks and liberate the survivors, sending them to re-education camps to teach them the error of their ways and perhaps save a few souls.
The Star Fraction Erebus continued to spin in the Kamela 5-1 POS, shaking its figurative fist at the victorious forces of the Amarr Crusade and Caldari state as the Star Fraction wrecks burned and splintered, their every mineral already being recycled into more ammuntion to throw at the Minmatar Republic.
The Crusade marches on as the Star Fraction grasps at straws to find meaning in rationalizing defeat. In the words of all the noble pilots who gave them killrights to do God's work, they speak as one voice: Bring it on. Even though you wont.
Amarr Victor! Long live the Caldari State!

Always a pleasure to see Star Fraction ships tricked so easy away from hugging the station. I'll wager Jade is fuming about now.
Good work all involved.

As one of the Amarr pilots who went GCC for the cause, YEAH! SF has interfered enough in faction war and we will no-longer stand by and watch fleet members die.
Long Live The Empire, Death to ALL who threaten her.
Sig: Miners supply the ore that the Industrialists use to build the ships you PVP/E with so please think of them as your ship blows up from the enhanced PVP/E in EVE. We know CCP hasn't.

For Christ's sake, since you can't actually earn real pie, at least buy some cheap crack head in pampers for a quick BJ and stop with the 'Long live the Amarr' role-playing banter. It makes studs like me feel shameful for even playing this game. Oh, and the itching and pain you feel in your ass...that's called hemorrhoids...get out of your chairs and do some jumping-jacks or something. Sheesh.

Garst, I see you are talking big again. I recall a day when you admitted in the local channels to not be willing to engage out of a fair fight. Pity I lost the log, was amusing, considering you ran from a 6 on 1 to my Ferox a few minutes later. Stroke your ego, while you can. --Don't feed trolls. |

On a plus point I killed my 10th Crusader Battleship in completion of the terms of the duel I lost to Frank Monkey a couple of months ago and can now speak freely on the IGS once more.
With regard to the fight - it was a risk obviously and as we later discovered Garst's agents had infiltrated the "secure" combined intel channel we were using to communicate with our allies thus setting up the trap. We attacked the No.Mercy group knowing they were shielded by half a dozen logistics ships and utilizing ours Carriers to partially offset the 40 to 10 numerical disadvantage at the beginning of the fight.
Garst managed a decent pincer entrapment however and brought in the Caldari Militia to turn the tables and ultimately the SF carrier group went down to the combined forces of the 24h Crusade and their Caldari allies en mass in an initial disparity of about 10-1. We found ourselves unable to overcome the estimated 13 logistics ships on the field and resolved to fight to the last unwilling to quit the field while any of our vessels remained trapped by the enemy.
My ship the -JFS- Tarrantula went down fighting and I was pleased to see Baruc's Ishtar Class Heavy Assault ship explode shortly before my hull breached despite the presence of so many logistics ships on the field around me.
I guess one can only assume he's not that popular!
Anyway see you on the battlefield. This day goes to the combined forces of the Caldari and Amarr nations. We'll see what tomorrow brings.

I'm not in your channels. (Or am I? Start fighting your own battles instead of relying on backup that just never quite arrives does it?) Its a simple math equation: overeliance on carrier drops/titan bridge + predictability = dead caps Also we had 5 guardians in the crusader fleet, 4 basilisk in the caldari state fleet, neither were coordinating with eachother for reps. Baruc is pretty important I agree, worthy of trading a carrier for. "I long for death, not because I seek peace, but because I seek the war eternal" |

Your memory is as short as your personal combat skill, Garst. I wouldn't expect you to remember the Thorax you blobbed in Osoggur and then subsequently fled from when I shipped up. I don't feel like arguing here, though, just wasting my time and breath. --Don't feed trolls. |

No worries there - SF have always managed to think of themselves as being successful whilst their KB ratio only manages to hover around 60% from the start of their struggle - no doubt Jade will soon make a post about the glorious victory they achieved in this battle .
Given the fact they're ususally hiding behind a Minmatar meat-shield whilst only picking out few select targets out of 24th IC fleets and some of their members having the habit to just lurk around with Minmatar fleets in cloaking ships and only decloaking and quickly activating some E-war module on the target shortly before it explodes to get the free captains a KM (*cough*claire*cough*), that's pretty much a defeat from the beginning even without this battle.
Congrats to all 24th IC and SP pilots involved.
Keep squaring that circle SF - We all know you are masters in it...
edit: jasmine beat me to it...

Hardly but it was quite amusing seeing your 13 allied logistics ships ignoring him as he bleated for help under my fighter drones

Apparently 5 Guardians + 4 Basilisk = 13 Logistics ships. No wonder they call defeats victories and think trading 5 carriers for 1 HAC 2 Battleships and assorted other stuffs is a victory they can't do simple addition. --- I am taking pre orders for Navy Armageddons |

Actualy, I lost my ship because I left logistics range keeping point on your carrier as you tried to flee like a dog. A dog who was shot in the back, trying to run instead of fighting.
It makes me laugh for you to feel justified in losing 5 carriers because you killed my Ishtar.
This ones for you Jade, BaHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAH!
