Panda Team	Posted - 2009.10.24 23:28:00 - [1] Edited by: Huan CK on 24/10/2009 23:31:40 Well, a few weeks ago when the Moros-changes for the patch got released, Moros prices started dropping fast, and I was able to snatch a Moros at about 1.05bn iskies. Calculating insurance cost, I noticed that I can blow up the dread and make marginal profit by cashing the payout. The "suicide a loler Dread" idea was born and remained in my mind for a long time. After a long, long time of thinking on how to make it blow, I decided on a sentry sniper fit and park it on a gate/renter station while our regular gangs do their day-to-day stuff ;) At about 20:30 EVE-Time, I go on vent and tell my corp-mates "guys, today is the day I wanna lose my Moros!" The fit is completely for lulz and was kept cheap for a reason ;D The lows were filled with structure tank, to appear as an easy kill, and then go giggle while the HP wont move :) The extra 2 mids weren't really needed, and therefore Civilian mods where put in for more lulz :) Since there were Carriers in belts, at gates and station multiple times today, we decided to take a battleship gang (insurance on most was about to end, so they needed to pop anyway) to either scare the carriers back to docks or hoping they'd leave them out for remote rep and therefore push others to undock and die. The Moros was on standby and didn't show til later on. The locals docked up and hid as usual, so we started shooting station services. SoT gathered a fleet and parked 2 jumps out, not daring to engage (they had like twice our numbers and equivalent ships, bc and bs mostly). After quite some time, SoT moved closer while another 50 man EH gang arrived 2 jumps out. Kinda hilarious that they waited on EH reinforcements ;) They warp to station just as we leave for a safe and shortly after go out again. Since it was getting pretty late and I said I wanted to lose the Moros tonight, I decided to use it as bait for the big blob :) The cyno went up, the Moros came in, and both, SoT and EH gangs turned around, warping to the cyno. The bubble went up just before the whole fleet arrived. They bubbled themselves, easing our job at tackling :D Pro decission by their gang :) Pretty soon shiat starts hitting the fan! It was quite a mess, and very hilarious. While most of them focused on my Moros, the rest of the gang was able to call primaries, kill targets and ** a few ships. The drone swarms got bigger and bigger, and the small ships dared to come in to * on the killmail. Then, the ECM-Burst and the Smartbomb start going off, killing tons of drones, inflicting uninsured isk-losses by popping those small buggers. Even Inties and Bombers got too close and got *d by the smartbomb. We sure did have a fun time pvp-ing tonight. We fought outnumbered on like 1:5+ odds (call us blobbers again, lol?! ), had tons of laughs, and were able to once more train our pvp pros in quite ugly situations. For those who need to get a better overview of the fight, watch our killboard! battle summary Although the killboard shows a negative ratio, it turned out in our favour :) The Moros threw off 4 mil profit after all cost (ship+fit+insurance cost), the bs where insured, and we lost nothing causing monetary damage, while we killed quite some non-insurable stuff :) Thanks to SoT, EH and all the undocking renters for this fun fight! Total waste of even a lol dread next time try mabey killing something before you cyno into the middle of nowhere and die in a fire while you support gets shredded.

Paid 462mil ISK for platinum insuance for a 1.5bil ISK payout. Only assuming that you got the best insurance. 3. 1.05bil + 462mil = 1.512bil - 1.5bil for insurance payout = (-)12mil profit Where's the profit? Please explain because I want to make some ISK too
