I was just curious if people would want to find things in asteroid as you either blow them up or mine them?
"Hey look what I found!" "What's that?"

And debris. I spent hours in my first days in Eve trying to scoop, buy every scanner known to scan, and deal with "random cool looking and descriptive objects".
Scavenger skill... anyone?
"This appears to be part of an old power core. It still pulses with energy."
You know how tempting a description like that is? Bah, I was like Booyah!... nope can't do anything with it. :(

I think small rare lodes of some odd material could crop up in asteroids. It might make for a more elaborate miner-agent system without removing useful minerals from the market. Mining agents need to work on a much more slow-paced or flexible fashion than combat or courrier agents. Talking to the agent could reveal a more elaborate menu of options.
Miners need some sort of interesting way to get implants afterall. They can't get anything besides perceptions, or was it willpower. It's only one kind, that's all I know. If necessary, you could have the roid equivalent of a jetcan fall out when they pop. Call it a scoopable geode maybe.
You can never have enough belt strippers in the game.

Would really like to find some Dark Ochre in that Veld Rock
Nah, kidding aside... I would rather find stuff in the hulks, warships, etc. instead of in the rocks Like a weapon's stash , stacks of processors, etc.
