Can someone tell me why I see so many battleships at 10-40k spawns?
Is it more fun or something?
Or are they just.... you know
I'm a new player and I'm just wondering if this is something everyone does. Go easy on me...
Which PA character are you?

Spawns? Or missions? Because at the moment L3 missions are the max... -- The best description of alliances, ever:

Spawns. You know, the ones you get from ship logs.
I saw some guy in a RAVEN earlier shooting a 40k rat(which was the largest possible spawn at this particular place).

Are they what you might call Carebears by any chance?

carebears are just people who dont pvp.
There are plenty of carebears who kill rats in 0.0
Usually it boils down to lazyness, and the fact that these people are afraid to play. Thats the reason why they hunt easy spawns in low sec empire.
God forbid, they may realise that 0.0 is in fact less dangerouse than low sec empire. But, i perfer these type of players to stay in empire. It means that their whinning is contained

I don't really pvp but don't really look at myself as a carebear. The difference that I see is that although I don't really pvp I don't want my space to be safe. I want to have pirates and I'm perfectly ok with people trying to kill me even in empire space. Carebear in my mind is someone who would suggest seperate servers for pvp and not pvp, and whine about being killed when he didn't ask to be killed. __________ Capacitor research |

Because they're dying to get killed by a pirate.
Next time you see a couple battleships camping a spawn, feel free to give me a call and let me know, aight?

no carebears are folk who dont want to risk anything and never want to loose. There are plenty of PvP carebears and lots of non PvP folk who arent carebears.
If youre willing to take a risk, play the game and take a loss or two along the way while playing your not a carebear.

Surely all those that log off in combat fall into the carebear catagory too????

..and want to have access to every area of the game and to force everyone else to play the game their way.
As long as the non-PvPer accepts it as their choice, doesn't complain about not being able to experience every aspect or area of the game they are not (IMO) a carebear. -- (Battle hardened miner)
