I see these new t2 bpos changing hands for upwards of 9 billion or people dropping 100 mil per item for officer loot and I have to wonder... are these individuals or corps... or alliances with so much money?
Seeing transactions like that make me feel dirt poor. ----------------------------------------------

Edited by: Shakul on 02/11/2004 03:57:48 people start doing agent missions in frigates, so they get more isk, so they buy battleships and cruisers and stuff from big corps. They lose the battleships and collect insurance money, which they use to buy more stuff from big corps, and so on, until you get a big corp with billions of isk who buys a BPO off of a lucky researcher. Auction your items for isk, works sort of like ebay. |

Well rivek, blowing stuff up hardly pays any ISK ;P
As it has been discussed, the ongoing influx of ISK in the game made everybody have multiple billions of ISK in their pockets.
At least we have the ISK and you ppl have all the PvP fun
Anyway, goodluck, and blow your corpmate Derekian a couple of times for me

With good enough skills, 0.0 mining in an Osprey can bring in over 20,000,000 isk an hour. In an Apoc, over 24,000,000 isk an hour. (however, this isk rate does not take into account time used to switch roids, and the ore share that the haulers/rat cover gets, so more realistic numbers are about 50% of the ones above. Still, very profitable, assuming you don't lose your ships/ore to rats/pirates....)
0.0 rat hunting can also be very profitable.

Im aware of the possible income mining... and i do npc hunt occasionally. But to have multi BILIONS in my wallet i would have to do it constantly. I simply do not have the motivation to grind npcs or roids. I cant understand how someone so rich would still want to mine mine mine! |

IMHO, nobody mine bilions of isk, it is profitable until some point after goes meaningless. Freelancer isk haulers do diferent kind of jobs depending how "heavy" they are. In begining it is mining/agent running, then trading, producing t1, producing t2, producing bs and in time you end up with bilions in your wallet. Consider this: if you invest 500mil in some goods and resell quick with only 10% profit it makes quick 50mil. More money you have, more money you earn. All of this in case you do not get free uber t2 bpo.
PS: No, I still have no bills of isk, but I will. Soon.

Many people have multiple accounts for the mining, hauling and trading. Most of the uberrich top-PvPers anyway.

easiest way? luck out on a bpo from npc's even a krappy one is usually worth a lot, as for billionairs, getting your hands on a ship bpo from a research agent instantly makes you one

You guys forget that sometimes the people that buy or sell represent corps. A large corp can make a billion in one mining op.

You can also make good isk hustling the market.
I bought some items at 15k each and sell them for 60k. Stuff like that takes 0 effort or skills, just some initial isk.
Best way to make that kinda isk to put up buy orders for tech II components and the likes and sell them in high traffic places like Nonni. You can do the same thing on escrow. Sometimes you can get really good deals on stuff and just mark it up a bit.

i've found that having multiple sources of income is the way to make billions. It "can" be done by mining alone, but the certain way is not in just digging. In the early days, i made alot of isk selling dope, especially drop and mindflood. There is a bottomless pit of isk to be had by selling standard ships and equipment on the fringes or actually IN warzones. In places like e02, hlw ect where people are all rich, even the most standard of equipment can be sold for many times its value in empire space. I've seen rifters go for 1.5m, bestowers at 2m a pop, cap rechargers for 250k...junk for gold in places you can buy mega for 2/3 it's value on buy orders because rich people are lazy. Anyway, the bottom line...there is lots of isk out there to be had, stop poluting yourself with these forums and get into the game!
