i am returning to the game after a couple of years out and was wondering if any of my old corp or people who i might have known are still playing.
my main charcter was called mrg29, i was in a corp called Freedom Fighters Syndicate (FFS) and was primarily a mission runner.
i assume there have been alot of changes in the last couple of years and i got alot of catching up to do, any advice or tips will be appreciated.
look forwrad to seeing you guys in space :-)

Welcome back! Many changes in 2 years, and it may be overwhelming. Also a few nerfs that might require a whole new way of thinking.
Im not familiar with the corp you mentioned, and the ticker is in use by another corp.

nice to see a real sense of community still exists.
i never said i wouldn't be reading up , just asked for any good tips that people might have. the main reason for my post was just in case any old friends were still playing tbh.

Welcome back.
The forums are awash with moronic me-too trolls who cant think independently, just ignore them.
If you primarily mission run then not much has changed in that respect.
Some new epic arc mission things, haven't tried them. In honesty, haven't run more than the odd mission or two for over 1.5 years.
Before you go pvp be aware of several changes, you are almost certain to need to refit or change strategies:
Nano nerf
Webber nerf and scram boost (essentially made frigs more viable, webs are less effective, scrams turn mwd's off
Changes to rigs, can rig frigs cheap now :)
New effects are boring
Falcon nerf (its shorter range now)
Depending how far back you unsubbed.... nos nerf
people are bigger jerkoffs than before.
cant remember any others atm.

I also just came back after 18 months or so off - the game itself is exactly the same, just with slighty different mechanics and dynamics (if you'd been playing a long time before you quit, its basically just followed the same trend it had always been going down).
Also, wormholes.
