Minmatar militia killed dozens (maybe 100+) of BSs, T2 cruisers bouncing on planets and gates.
I think it was a very good help and a massive loss of ISKs for Caldari and Amarr militias.
The bottom line is that was as very good fight.

Also, Helljumpers really need anger management lessons. They take ship losses way too persoally, emorage for hours, following you wherever you go in their pods.
lol, what?
(he's talking about pax emo raging in local yesterday. no big deal.)
Also lol at the Defourant guy stalking us - my name is "u mad" how do you expect me to post dip****. We just ****d them in the face and I feel like rubbing jade's nose in it. Sue me.

If by "kick ass" you mean: "we camped the gates killing stragglers (and idiots who didn't pay attention to the FC's orders) for 2.5 hours while SF lost their pos, their capital fleet, and multiple waves of reinforcements" then yes, you sure "kicked ass" bud.
Look, today was an embarrassment to SF and their allies, just accept it and move on. The more desperately you try to spin it the more foolish you look.
Better luck next time - and I mean that. GF.
I'll let this speak for it's self..
Final Battles Stats (Minmatar Militia)
I think what we did worked very well.
GF
edit.. btw, I wonder how much isk was "really" lost in the 50 pods that got dispatched. If you assume 20 mil each with that being likely very low. As 20 mil is only two +3 implants but that's another billion is losses for you guys that doesn't even show up in the stats.

This topic is pure lulz.
Minmatars didn't win any fights, they just sat on gates and ganked people, yet here they are chest beating like they did something epic.
What would have been epic is if the minnies got in some bigger ships and had actually joined in the BATTLE. Who knows, things might have gone differently.
Star Fraction and the Minmatar militia have yet to see the FULL power of the Amarr Coalition. I have a feeling that in the coming weeks, they will see that power and likely grow to fear it. What took place yesterday was merely a fraction of the total destruction which we will be using to reign down terror on Star Fraction, the Minmatar militia and all who support them.
This is only the beginning. Prepare yourselves.

Edited by: Gavin Darkwater on 01/11/2009 18:20:13 Gahaha, we didn't lose, we didn't WANT that POS -or- those Carriers! Or Battleships! Well, wait, we did, but that was the plan! Wait, no, we built it back BETTER!
Come on guys, the militia had a plan, it met with some success obviously, granted, the whole field could have likely been won if they would have actually showed up to, you know, the battle. But hey, you had a plan.
Cant we all just say GF and drive on? You're not diabolical, this was not all part of some master plan. Nor will it be when the next one falls, and the next, and the next.
But please, keep posting, I get a kick out of it.
Also, to those *****ing about lag, I fought this from Baghdad, wasn't terrible for me. Next time, configure your overview properly.

Did you Helljumpers get butt hurt and lose a lot of ships warping them to planets or something? While over all, there is a lot of chest beating from all sides, almost everyone agrees it was a good fight. Yet all I see from you Helljumps in multiple topics, is you crying about Minmatar Militia not playing internet space ships the way you wanted them to play.
Get over it.. You had your objective, our guys had ours.. While your objective might have been met with the POS bashing party. The Minmatar's objective was met 10 fold as we didn't expect to be anywhere near as successful at the hit and runs as we ended up being.
The end result is almost everyone agrees it was fun and a good fight, so why don't you Helljumpers quit being so butt hurt about it?

Yes very little really.. Only what 7 billion worth of ship kills for our 600 million in loses.
Kamela Battle (Minmatar Militia Stats
Again this was "just" Minmatar Militia that got the killmails, not what SF, TFS, CH, BYDI ect.ect got KM's for. I think it's more than safe to say we did a lot of damage, so quit being so butt hurt about it.

I think you miss the point there Ralnik. You guys did a great job ganking people, but what does that contribute to the overall battle? Furthermore, bragging about ganking is pretty much the definition of chest beating because there is very little skill involved, and it's likely a monkey could be trained to hit F1-F8 on solo jump/warp ins without support.
Nobody is trying to take that away from you. Wear your ganking skills as a badge of honor.
The point we're trying to make is that MAYBE if the Minmatars had done something more useful (that took a bit of skill and intelligence), like helping their "allies", the battle LIKELY would have swung the other way.
So basically what it comes down to is that the minmatars were either too lazy or too stupid to do anything about joining the BATTLE, and instead decided to take the easy way out and get some easy kills while their friends died in a fire, then CHEST BEAT about how effective they were.
Butthurt? Not at all, I hope whoever is making these decisions for the Minmatar sticks around for a LONG time, because I think I'm in love. I always appreciate an enemy FC that makes my life easier and provides me with more kills :)

You apparently fail to understand basic combat tactics, if you don't understand how important it is to keep enemy ships "off" the battlefield. Every ship we killed was one more ship that wasn't returning to a station to repair and return to the fight. Every ship we killed entering Kamela was a ship that never made it to the main battle.
Sorry that we didn't play space ships like you wanted us to play them.. Opps our bad.

I understand the tactic quite well, as it's one that our corp often uses ourselves. The difference is though that I seem to understand that it's not a tactic that wins battles, it's a tactic that gets YOU kills.
It's a great tactic, lots of fun, lots of kills. Very rarely will it change the outcome of the battle though when there are more than sufficient forces in place for victory, even considering losses.
You still seem to miss the point that had the Minmatars engaged in the actual BATTLE that the outcome would probably have been different.
You might not have gotten so many easy kills though, so I guess you guys did the right thing by letting your allies die.

You guys need to realise that preventing reinforcements is only as good as the reinforcements they prevent.
Fact is you cant predict the usefulness of a gate camp and for such a big battle you can only assume a large amount of reinforcements.
But just quietly im thinking after the gatecamps killed a bunch they actually prevented any more people from trying to join the battle and therefore served their purpose.
Stop crying over an internet space game, jesus.

Not sure why some people sound so upset. Eve is about conflict and glorious battles. Our players enjoyed themselves, the Minmatar players enjoyed themselves and I imagine our enemies enjoyed themselves. I can't see the point for the Amarr players to try and smack the Minmatar players when as far as SF is concerned the TLF conducted themselves entirely to our satisfaction and we continue to have great confidence in their enthusiasm for the fighting.
Losing some carriers is no real reason to get all emo on CAOD and neither is killing those carriers. Everyone should chill out and enjoy the game really.
Last weekend saw Kamela become the centre of eve for a couple of hours on a saturday night - its a victory most of all for CCP and the Faction Warfare concept, this roleplay conflict between the Amarrian slavers and the Free Matari fighters has become the most interesting thing on the map for a while. Thats quite a result for the content team that dreamed up Faction War and continue to support with ISD news coverage and imbedded reporting.
Makes you think right? Why fight meaningless battles against boredom in 0.0 when you can pick sides in the ideological conflict between the Amarrian empire and Matari cause.
Frankly I'm impressed its got this big.

Jade Constantine Mistress of the Golden Chamber: JF
Gallente born and raised, and tutored as a pleasure slave and courtesan to the exotic tastes of the Amarri court. Jade's career veered violently off course when a diplomatic envoy's transport was blown to pieces in mysterious circumstances and she was rescued from the escape pods by the enigmatic genetic mastermind Athule Snanm.
Jovin Ketils Psychosexual Battlefield Therapist: JF
An experienced slave of love, aquired her former masters fortunes in a play of desire. Hostess of passionate soiree's in her Chalet, enticing her guests to acts of ecstacy and lust with sensous ****tail concoctions. Lianhaun Reformed Indy Ganker: Evolution
Once the terror of the spaceways the lovely Lianhaun was a member of the notorious space invaders gang formed by the dashing pirate Setec. Times change however, and Lian has promised to pay richly for her past naughtiness in the coinage of love and fair intentions.
Miso Mistress of Cultural Assassination: JF
Intaki freedom fighter and info-terrorist for hire; the enigmatic Miso made common cause with JF during the war against the Taggart Transdimensional Megacorp and ongoing opposition to reactionary state-fascism in all its forms in the period following Ragnar's fall. Her penchant for sex and violence beyond entirely sane proportionality has made Miso a media star across the gallente federation, with sales of of her steamy earlier work in the billions.
Josephine Kestrel ***** First Class: JF
A one-time freelance pilot and poster child for the aspirational ethics of the Caldari state. Josephine has made a legend out of pragmatic good sense and worldly awareness of shortcomings in the political fancies others become consumed by. She also mixes an extremely good ****tails.
Jasmine Constantine VP Mayhem and Slaughter: JF
Jade's cousin by genotype, Jasmine is an entirely more forceful and direct personality, favouring precision engineering and vast collateral damage as fine adjunct to the shock and awe of her unrestrained gallente sexualty, Jasmine is twice as dangerous when she is being charming.
Charity Regard Toybox of Temptation: Asgard Ind
A fine upstanding representative of the Caldari society, polite, intelligent, witty, and always ready to lead a hand to the least fortunate amongst us. Charity Regard is a human byword for respectful decorum and immortal tact. Tempted thus, who amongst us could truly be without sin?
DB Preacher Dream of Dark Intentions: Reikoku
A hard drinking fast loving ******e of the Venal civil war, DB Preacher founded Reikoku on the principles of reckless bravado and total disregard for personal safety. Its therefore safe to assume that her tastes in the Boudoir are hardly less extreme, or lacking in artful spice.
Hellena Temptress and Headmistress: Red Light District
Born on a beutiful tropical planet, Hellena grew up knowing what beauty was, and how to satisfy. Hearing the call she left to explore and to meet new people to pleasure, particularly a red haird Gallentean woman whom she adores. space can be lonley..care to keep me company?
