I'm guessing this is the start of some sort of long-term recruitment scam. I predict that many pubbies will bite, move all their stuff into goon space, and then at some pre-planned time, have all their stuff removed from corp hangers and their ships popped. By posting about how they got stolen from after recruiting a pubbie (probably a goon alt), they indirectly plant the idea in people's heads that they are starting to recruit from outside SA, so fewer people become instantly suspicious.
I hope it works, and I hope the betrayal takes the form of a big fleet op. Make a fleet full of pubbies, take them out on a "roam" and ambush the heck out of them. Something video-worthy, with vent audio and all that so we can hear the screams.
