Not going to happen... It'll be heavily escorted from the minute it jumps through to the low-sec gate, then it'll be webbed for a quick warp to a pos where a titan will be waiting with a jump bridge for it... You wont get much of an opportunity for gankage if they play their cards well...

And you have it on authority that these things cannot be built in place in 0.0, I take it? ——— “If you're not willing to fight for what you have in ≡v≡… you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.” — Karath Piki |

Level 4 mission bounties will become better sources of income compared to other professions such as mining. This will make high sec even more profitable compared to low sec/0.0.
Thanks to insurance the value of isk creates a floor for the value of minerals.
Non-basic-mineral deflation actually increases the relative value of minerals because of that link.
Also, I'm guessing CCP wants a sink for isk because upgrades for ratting for those already there and people moving from missions to ratting will be a tremendous isk faucet (ratting is more inflationary than missions because the ratio of isk to other stuff is higher) that they want to preemptively match with a new sink.

Obviously you've never seen an alliance's wallet fat with moon goo money.
Well very few people are a member of goons or PL.. and seeing as you control most of the moons ingame you'd know all about it.

Not really, Gnulpie, the WH tags changed nothing, what matter is the number of players farming the isk faucet, not the number of faucets.
If you take 1.000 players running missions and move them to exploring wormholes the straight isk produced stay about the same or are even reduced as the total number of people working the faucets is still the same.
The total number of player has a way greater impact.
Originally by: Daedalus II Mission runners get richer as their isk faucets get more valuable. It will cost less isks to buy items as each isk is valued higher. I don't think there will be any change to the other professions that just shuffle isk and items around.
Again, not something granted. The isk would increase the purchasing power but the modules, salvage and LP will lose isk value. So probably it will balance out.

Absolutely. Activities that actually generate isk into the system will become more profitable. Those that require isk will become less profitable since there will be less isk to pay for their services/goods.

This ^^
People in this thread seem to be making drastic claims at the perceived increase in ISK sinks for maintaining system sovereignty, but we have no idea of the actual numbers.
Upgrading a system could even mean stuff like better rats to shoot at with better bounties, increasing the ISK faucet. We have a general idea that we can "upgrade a system" and that it costs ISK to maintain sovereignty to these systems. It's too early to make any kind of guess work involving ISK faucets/sinks, etc.
