G-R-I-E-V-A-N-C-E	Posted - 2009.11.03 11:55:00 - [31] Meh, a 170 ish man hac gang from IT Came to 3we-ky yesterday , and in classic BoB the Blob fasion, proceeded to bubble the 9-V gate with about 5-6 large bubbles and hics. All fine and good. BUT , after orgainizing such a large Hac fleet and traveling all the way to fountain and setting up bubbles, did they stay for any sigifigant amount of time? NO. They left in less than an hour. While kudos goes to them for showing up with the biggest fleet I have seen in quite some time, Kinda seemed like a waste of time and resources if they didnt intend to stay for atleast 6 hrs or more. I mean what happened to the old BoB ways of camping in a system from DT to DT?

I'm sure you realise already that our solution to this deadly and dangerous situation that presented itself to us was to simply dock. This simple action doesn't seem to have occured once to any of the new recruits IT has chosen to absord into its ranks. It certainly isn't the actions of an "elite PvP alliance", infact I think even Atlas has grasped the basic concept of a "bait". Consequently those drakes turned around and went home (props for bringing it though) leaving another aspect of what BoB used to be and stand for, shredded and torn. I suppose it could all just be a cunning plan, maybe that's 'IT' with the clowns and so on, you're just trying to make us laugh ourselves to death. It's not all bad news though, if you can recuit several more sizeable corps you should be able to jam systems with so many people that any action takes 30 mins for a response. If you can recreate 2005 by defeating CCPs attempts to reduce lag then maybe you can shoot ships that haven't loaded grid like you used to - which is about the only time BoB ever achieved anything. Maybe then you'll be a happy Metal Dude once more.

Were limiting the attack to 2 regions, mainly Fountain and Tribute. 1) NC point of view - well, the situation is still calm, NC and pets are still living the peaceful and fruitful ratting lives as they always did. Nothing of greater importance is being done there. Apart from evicting a few minor corps and limiting access to certain intelligence, things still seem to be normal. Mostly Harmless seems to have some emo thing in their ranks and it just might be spies trying to cause some kind of panic and rabble discontent. But I am supremely confident IT Yassir has it in grip. 2) Fountain block - Alright, situation is at first glance calm, but at certain times it seems like theres a slight tension. PL seems to be arming themselves and are severely increasing their numbers and stocks on guns, ammo and ships. Lots of caps too. SoT have implemented some kind of "embargo", restrictions, call it what you want, on their members and pets, limiting them to all kinds of information, supplies and details of defense, CTAs and such. They seem to be cutting down on the members and pets that provide a moderate isk income from rats and rents. There is definitely a scent of fear in the air. I got an invite to join, but their CEO labeled me a Hungarian spy who speaks multiple languages and is in fact a wolf in sheep's clothing. Well dear sir, I sure as hell aint no sheep, but I do know how to howl, baby. Although certain dirty things do come to mind when you mention sheep. =) 3) IT Alliance - With all their "Were coming! Fear us!" statements and proclamations, I think IT themselves have no bloody clue where or who they want to invade. It sure does sound like it when they talk. FACT is that most of their members aint interested in sov holds anymore but are simply looking for rampage options. Still their numbers are multiplying and they grow and spread like a yeast infection, day by day. I feel free to compare IT with Mordor forces where SirMomo is the Dark Lord and "The Snitch" as Mouth of the Dark Lord (either that or Gollum), sit in their gloomy little resort and are collecting all troops they can get their little, spider-like hands on for D-Day. Nonetheless, there have been sightings of IT spies and scouts in both regions. 4) Jackie Sue, where are you? - Well, Goons being Goons dont give a damm about all this so they aint doing anything. Jackie Sue is collecting money for his breast implants so he aint no more two thirds a lady, but a full hot dog woman! And oh boy, was I surprised with his body! 5) The Muppet Factory - no idea why I bring them into this. I guess I still hate OrDeR.... ORDER, MY LITTLE BOSNIAN, U SUCK!

With that out of the way I can say that those where the most fun times I have had in EVE for the last 2 year even though it went downhill for us once the sov was taken. It is interesting that the old BOB/Kenny has reformed under IT and are creating by their mere existence some interest in the game. The last 6 months have been dull on a mcro political basis... Yes lots of engagements with little consequence appart from taking a moon here and there. I hope that when dominion comes IT will stir things up and makes it fun again
