No need to EFT Warrior this, its what I use:
[Pilgrim, Probes] 800mm Reinforced Rolled Tungsten Plates I Amarr Navy Medium Armor Repairer Damage Control II Adaptive Nano Plating II Co-Processor II
Y-S8 Hydrocarbon I Afterburners Faint Epsilon Warp Scrambler I Balmer Series Tracking Disruptor I Balmer Series Tracking Disruptor I Medium Capacitor Booster II, Cap Booster 800
Sisters Expanded Probe Launcher, Core Scanner Probe I 50W Infectious Power System Malfunction 50W Infectious Power System Malfunction 50W Infectious Power System Malfunction
Medium Egress Port Maximizer I Medium Egress Port Maximizer I
Drones to taste, usually Warrior II's, Hammer II's, Hobgob II's, and a flight of Vespa ECM.

^^ Looks great. I tend to go heavy on neuts when in gang to shut down whatever fast so I think your setup is right up my alley.

If you don't use a cloak, Ravenesa, then why use a pilgrim instead of a curse?
It looks like a very solid build if you run 2 medium neuts and a cloak instead of 3 medium neuts.

Edited by: Ravenesa on 03/11/2009 23:27:01 Err Crap, I forgot the cloak :) remove a neut, add a cloak. Upgrade the Neuts to T2. This is why EFT warrioring at work is a bad idea... Here is the fit from my client. For probing I know some people like to fit grav rigs instead of Egress Ports since you are only running two Neuts.
800mm Tungsten Amarr Navy Medium Rep DCUII Adaptive Nano Plating II Co-Processor II
10MN AB II Warp Scram II Balmer Series TD x2 Medium Cap Booster II, 800's
Sisters Expanded Launcher, 6x Sisters Core and Combat, 6x Core and Combat, 1x Deep Space Covert Ops Cloaking Device II Medium Energy Neutralizer II x2
Egress Port I's x2

doh. Just notice the cloak. Good ideas though. I wonder if there would be enough CPU if you dropped the co-pro and dropped in like 3 of those adaptives since they take no CPU as I recall. Would that be better based on the concept of having similar EHP but better armor tanking?? Maybe eft is needed for that. . .
Thanks again.

Why the co-pro? Not got Recon V?

Pretty sure that setup will not work without the co-pro II even with Recon V (which I have).
However - I am back home and with EFT I did this variation. Uses 3 adaptive nano instead. Result is slightly more EHP and improved armor tanking. Looks strange with 3 adpative nanos down there. Also has like 200 unused PG. Likely someone can still improve upon this without having to go all out faction etc.

Edited by: Valadeya uthanaras on 04/11/2009 13:34:45 This is the setup I used ofr a while with great fun:
Pilgrim
Medium armor Repairer II Internal Force Field Array C-Type Adaptive Nano plating C-Type Adaptive Nano plating 800 mm Reinforced rolled tungsten plates
10MN Microwarpdrive II 10MN Afterburner II Medium Electrochemical Capacitor Booster II / Cap charge 400 Shadow Serpentis Warp scrambler Ship scanner II / Balmer serie Tracking disruptor
Expanded Probe Launcher /Sister combat probe (offline) Medium Unstable Power Fluctuator Medium Unstable Power Fluctuator Cover Ops CLaoking DEvice II
the ship scanner might sound weird but is extremly usefull : it let you see the target capacitor, not to overuse neutralizer, I show the target fitting, to know if its a winnable fight(when soloing) and its also low on CPU
To online th eprobe launcher, offline the Microwarpdrive
the Microwarpdrive/afterburner combo is for versatility when soloing, mwd allowing quick escape in camp or other troublesome situation, the afterburner allowing high damage mitigation when killing a target
have fun
edit: forgot to say , rig and drone to your tastes

The Co-Processor is needed if you want to run an EANM and DCU because of the Expanded Launcher's CPU requirement of 210. Yes you CAN run without a DCU if you want, but remember that once your armor goes, you go, plus it gives you a bit of shield resists. The hull resists can be enough for an extra rep cycle or two and it offsets not having a DCU. If you have enough CPU to sneak a named DCU instead of the third Adaptive plate, that is a better choice, though a more expensive one.
For the record I have Recon 5.

3% CPU Implants are quite cheap and can help with fitting other ships too. I think it's the "GYPSY" series of implants. |

Regarding the lack of a Damage Control II, if you are ganking someone in a Pilgrim and they actually hit you enough to get through your armor you are dead.
A DC II might give you a few seconds but by then you should have run away, so if you didn't then you have been pointed and are screwed. An extra resistance mod is far more useful. Talking from experience too here by the way, not theoretical EFT warrioring.

What do you guys think about a 1600mm plate setup? Does it make you too slow?
