You may only control up to 5 light drones with an Ishkur. That thread is 2004, since then drone bandwidth has been introduced.

You getting bay size and bandwidth confused.
Lets say I have a ship with a 300m3 cargo bay.... that means I can put about 60 small drones in it (at 5m3 per drone).
Now drones have a bandwidth requirement, which luckily is the same as their physical size (smalls = 5, mediums = 10, etc)
However, this ship in the above example only has 25 for bandwidth... which means it can launch 5x small drones, 2x med + 1 small, or 1x heavy drone.
No ship can launch more than 5 drones, with the exception of Motherships and Carriers. A skill particular to those ships allows for 1 extra drone to be controlled per level, and they can also fit Drone Control high slot modules (cap ships only, sorry).
So unless you're in a carrier, you're stuck to a 5 drone max, limited by the ship's bandwidth.
