The link is legit, we decided to rush the link out instead of waiting for the official download page being updated because we know our Mac users are eager to take it for a spin on Sisi.
Currently there are three major issues that we know about:
Browser does not work yet.
Voice does not work yet.
Planets are not quite right.
All of these areas are being looked into.

It's a link to a limelight. ccp uses them for eve patches, sisi clients and anything large that needs to be distributed. So don't worry.

It is always good to be careful and sometimes slightly paranoid 
Please let us know what you think of the update. Please bug report all issues encountered.

I used the download link. It linked me to a version of the client that says apocrypha when it starts up and wont connect to the test server... Am i just really ******ed or what?

SISI was patched today so the client is out of date and i cant find a mac patch anywhere for sisi.
Any soloutions to this?

SISI is back again, Mac client patched itself. Unfortunately it now crashes for me whenever I undock. Will try and file a bug report tomorrow.

Yes, I've a bug me too. (I'm in WH and when I click on enter game, I see my ship in space and after, I've a message "Unhandled page fault on write access to 0xbcf621f0 at address 0x1cd948a7.
Do you wish to debug it ?" . I click on "Yes" and after that, the client crachs. If I click on "No", my Mac crach itself.) Please CCP, make this problem okay, I've just had the Sisi client after 2 month of waiting

I can confirm that - when undocking, I get a dialog briefly that says I'm not in a rookie system, and then the client crashes.
Now, whenever I relog, the client also crashes since my character is in space. The same tutorial dialog appears, though not sure if it's related to the crash.

As soon as i'm in space it crashes and this show up.

i don't think a bug report for this is necessary.
the client is just plain broken. s.th. ccp should be able to see by just starting it. since no reproduction steps are necessary except of firing it up once.

Even if an issue appears to be obvious, there is nothing wrong with filing a bug report about it. I strongly encourage people to do it.
In this specific case, we believe we have found the reason for this issue and a fix will be deployed with next Singularity patch.

I'd be happy to submit a bug report. Are there instructions anywhere around here about how to do that for the Mac client? I found the nice post for the Win32 client, but haven't been able to find the location of the requested logs on my system. Anyone have a link or care to share where the EvE logs live on a Mac? This link (https://bugs.eve-online.com/help.asp#MACInfo) shows me how to find my system info, but where are the crash logs and dump files?

The help page you linked to is severely outdated and was one of the things that were brought up at the round table at fanfest. We're working on it.
