Try chasing severe thunderstorms in Oklahoma (or being chased by them). Now that is a rush! I've seen quite a few tornadoes (at least 15 this past year). Of course, I would love to see a volcanic eruption too. I've been in two hurricanes (Isabel 2003, Frances 2004) on a research mission as well. I'm just a severe nature junkie, I guess.

My Friend from Uni is doing her PhD on that volcano..so she's a very happy lady!!!
Take comfort in knowing that its probably some pimply faced twit, or 40 year old virgin, who gleens everytime mommy offfers to take them to needle point lessons |

Hmm I didn't realise that Iceland was a geological work in progress. Now we know where the CCP team gets their sense of time management. Any idea when Iceland will be completed?

I watched a tornado come over my house once and start snapping off trees in my and my neighbors back yards. Was pretty scary since I was in my house at the time, but a volcano in my backyard?
...No thanks, thats just a little too scary for me. The lava I could probably deal with depending on how fast it was moving and in what direction, but the superheated steam explosions and poisonous gas cloud eruptions can tend to ruin your day pretty fast.
I will also add my hopes that no one was harmed by this eruption.

Last I heard, CCp asked God when Iceland was to be completed. He replied "Soon(tm)".

First they give me EVE and now volcanic ash, planes here in sweden has been told not to fly at a certin altitude..
Anything else you icelandic people think i need?
