but then n00bs went around and started trying to gank the members that were staying behind (that were cleared to stay behind by FA command)

it gets resolved and a few of our guys are allowed to stay behind with the blessing of the FA Council guys

Ok, firstly, I have never been in FA, or in any group friendly to FA prior to joining Evolution.
I'm going to adress some key points in your post which I feel are worth further discussion purely because of the personal level on which you feel betrayed.
I hope it makes things more clear to you, as well as to us.
(1)
As far as I understand Evol and FA have had this longstanding thing from old days yes. As far as I know there have been no problems before and there was no wish to change this relationship on Evol side.
(2)
Evol and BoB are more close then Evol and FA at this time, as you can probably imagine since we fight side by side with the rest of the corporations in BoB.
Furthermore, attacking a frig or a battleship is the same in principle. We don't calculate the damage done and go "well, nothing really lost, let's ignore the thing". No, an attack is an attack. Evol is a corporation governed by strict principles one of which is that we hold our everyone else to the same standards we work with.
If you did not yet get the news that a hostile situation had ensued due to lengthy and impractical communications that is not our problem.
If the same would happen to us, Molle would give us a spanking for not knowing whats going on, and rightly so.
(3) The action of any one member binds any group. That's how we work it, so that is what we hold you to.
We too have alot of members not happy to be shooting at you probably. That does not change the principle.
Individual actions only exist on these forums, and even here the group you are a part of is implicated in anything you say or do.
(4) As I said, it probably saddens many people in Evol as well. But well, Molle is a man of principle on these issues, and we put 100% faith in him over anything.
(5) Well, I don't really know anything about your channels. But I do know that as soon as a hostile situation ensues with someone with acces to your comms, you shut em down and replace them. We would expect you to do the same to us.
(6) As I said, any organisation of which one member commits an act of aggresion to us gets an instant -10 untill further notice. We hold FA to the same principles we obey.
(7) The agreement was to return to status quo before the whole thing. Sadly enough it seems that FA chose to go back on that. Any lesser agreement does not seem acceptable to us, which brings us...here.
Please understand, I am only posting this to clear up how Evol as a corporations tends to treat these types of incidents. Our corp culture dictates we take a friendly incident as seriously as we would any other. And we do not like people going back on agreements either. It's a matter of principle I think, nothing personal.
Anyway, back to the game.

2) i never said Evol are backstabbers - i said if its true what others said about this conflict, then Evol are backstabbers
Unfortunately i can not confirm the facts myself so i have to ask. It just reminded me the backstabe Nemesis did to NORAD and i was curious.
