Currently taking a break from kicking arse in a 68 player game using only a bolt action rifle. How are your laggy 9v9 lobby games going?

no lag whatsoever and im doing pretty well.. i like less players and i play free for all, all the time.. its the way ahead.
the scar is rocking >:)
i like the new titles and stuff and the kill streaks... multiplayer is what its all about :)

All I gotta say is, I bought it from Best Buy today, and I'm ****ing ****ed about this Steam ****....Steam is a Steaming Pile Of ****....had to do all this nonsense to get the damn steam client to install so I could just install the damn game...then it tries to download the damn thing even though I have the damn thing on DVD. So restarted the install to get it to use the DVD...40 minutes later, I'm still waiting for it to finish installing...
...I swear to god, if I have to deal with another game and steam I'm going to blow something up...

Get used to it because digital downloads let publishers like EA charge the same amount for a game but cut out all that unprofitable middlemen stuff like electronics stores and the rather large cost of physical distribution. Notice that the DD versions are the same price as boxed?

I usually use Direct2Drive, they're easy and fast...this steam crap is nonsense.
I hate EA...tried to sit down and play Crysis single player when I lost my internet one day and wouldn't even let me play it without a connection...Direct2Drive games worked though.
D2D didn't have CoDMW:2 available :(

You have to set steam up to run in offline mode to play steam games offline. Then you only need the live connection to download and activate the game key.

I got mine through.... other means.  Solely for the single player. Screw anyone stupid enough to spend 60$ USD for 5 or 6 hours worth of single player and craptacular multiplayer. 9v9? What a joke. There are too many good games on the market to pay Infinity Ward for making crappy console ports.
Now that my rant is over with, single player is fairly cool. A bit gimmicky, and a bit overdone, but fun.
Probably next to no replayability though.

I played for an hour before called away by a friend for something...was pretty good, crazy action **** like cod4 so far...aside from the install sucking it's pretty good....
...except...
YOU CAN'T LEAN WTF?
anyways...the action lives up to CoD though...killing tons of innocent people in an airport was fun :P

Saw a bunch of people standing outside Gamestop last night, was thinking it would be funny to walk into the middle of the gaggle with an aerosol can of elk **** from Walmart's sporting goods dept.
Then I saw the cops and Army recruiters there and decided it maybe wouldn't be AS funny.
