Heh.
Today, I needed to reinstall DirectX. Imagine my pleasant surprise when I saw the link in the right sidebar to Eve...

No idea if it's a rotating thing or a one-off limited period only, but still. Bit high profile ;-)

I dont know about you but when I first saw EVE I needed to recover and get my breath back. I guess the guys at Microsoft experienced the same thing.

Well If you could only be liked by one corp, there is no better friend a company could have than microsoft. CCP should pursue that and form a partnership with MS. Just imagine EVE comming Pre installed on every windows machine. How glorious would that be.

on a urelated note: today I noticed a large convenientstore, in our area was selling out old EVE boxes, I dont think they are made any longer, but it was reduced from approx 70 U$ to 8 U$ and at that you get the game and one month...
I could imagine all shops that have some of the boxes left will shell them out in a similar manner, the question is how many is left out there? It could mean a small invasion of noobs in the near future ;)
even the paranoid has real enemies...

Lets hope they don't like EvE too much...they have a way of buying companies and making their games X-Box exclusive.
