Seems ccp are nerfing them to hell and back in next patch:

It's a lot of back anf forth, so I'm still waiting on final desicions = /
A supercarrier that can dock in low sec >_<
Ofc it'll somehow probly give u profit if they nerf price and materials, as everyone will want one now

In effect, the issue is right there. The ship class is already broken, and they have no suitable fix for them as of the timestamp of the dev blog.
You'd think that, perhaps, being able to carry "fighter bombers" would be part of that fix, but I guess it either isn't enough of a role defining idea or maybe somebody realized there was at least some potential for an even bigger "white elephant" to evolve in Dominion if the changes went through.
In that respect, I suppose folks should be relieved (I won't say "thankful") that the changes will not happen anytime soon.

Aren't they being given the ability to dock now? and reduced to what...10-12b isk in mineral cost to build?
The 0.0 market might go down..though I think people will still want them, however the low sec market if above is correct, will boom.

Hope they get around buffing them properly soon (tm) but still better then the last proposed changes. Seleenes/Abathurs changes, now that was something the community was happy with, so I really wonder what are the concerns that got those off the table in the first place
